I have some extra jungle val is that good?

What kind of angel fish should i get? I have seen the koi angels in my lfs and they are beautiful but i was wondering what other types you guys like. I have been looking because i bought my first 55 for 150 dollars and the 55 is on sale right now for 50 dollars off.

I would get one but the 55 is 100 dollars and the 75 is 175 dollars and i dont want to spend 75 dollars on 15 gallons

I am setting up a planted 55 gallon tank and I plan to stock it with angel fish and rummy nose tetras. I might make it blackwater. What are your thoughts and what plants should i use. I have extra pearl weed and a bunch of frogbit, red root floaters, salvinia and dwarf water lettuce. I just got the stand and it is all wood and is 56 inches long.

If you have your lights on a timer dont keep your lights on for as long or try to raise your light so your tank wont get as intense lighting. Good luck 👍

I am setting up a 5 gallon shrimp tank and was wondering if i lower the water level about 1.5 inches and fill it with floaters if it will be safe?

I for got to say that i am going to put a piece of sponge over the intake so no shrimplets get sucked up. the tanks og filter was way to strong so i stuffed pieces of sponge in it and now it is perfect for floaters! i was thinking about the gramminfolia but the utricularia gibba reminds me a little of hydrocotle.

Hmm i would try to do daily water changes for about a week and rhen test your water. Also if you have any cycled sponges squeeze the dirty water into the cycling tank. Just keep doing 50 percent water changes Until it is good

If you have a light i would put plants in because they help cycle your tank very fast.

I think it is easier to aquascape and plant after you have the hardscape in but you definitely dont have to.

Once the tank gets overstocked i will put half into a new 40 gallon breeder im going to set up soon.😁

I really like pea puffers but i have never had one. Do you know if pea puffers and shrimp can live together?

I bought the wood thinking it would fit but it didnt at all so i had to cut some off but i reused them!😁 It is a marineland portrait 5 gallon tank and it is about 1 foot tall i think

Update- one of my females has birthed two babies but i cant get a good picture of them. I am really excited to watch them grow!

i bought the pearl weed on etsy and the picture was on the day it arrived. My s repens is from petco and so is my anubias. The floating plants i ordered off of etsy as well. Thank you! My s repens is doing well and has atually grown about 1 inch since i bought it emersed. I use flourish ferts and api co2 booster because i am saving for a co2 kit. I just bought frogbit, dwarf water lettuce and red root floaters to put in this tank! Love your tank and your shrimp!
