  1. Yes, I have room for bio rings, coarse sponge and crushed coral in mine. It really just depends on how much of what you want to put inside it.
  2. I have the aquaclear 30 on my 10g. You could also use the aquaclear 20 or the nano filter ACO sells: https://www.aquariumcoop.com/products/nano-tank-hang-on-back-filter-1
  3. Hey all. I am getting a blue kong crayfish (cherax alyciae) soon. I'm looking for some good caves that can fit a 5-6 inch crayfish. Does anyone know if the ACO pleco caves work well for medium sized crayfish? If not, does anyone have any good recommendations for caves that fit medium sized crayfish? I'm looking for something that can be easily decorated with plants or blend in with plants, rocks and wood.
  4. I'm not sure exactly why, but it can take some time for the co2 to wind down after the regulator is turned off. Have you checked to see if co2 has stopped several hours after the timer turns off?
  5. I think any sinking protein rich food would be good. Like Hikari sinking carnivore pellets, xtreme nano pellets or xtreme krill flakes.
  6. I would do guppies and neos or Dwarf crayfish. You could also try a Apricot/tangerine crayfish (cherax holthuisi)
  7. There are some other swords, like red melon sword and red rubin sword that also have leaves of varying color. Crypt pink flamingo and crypt petchii pink are somewhat similar. I feel like there has got to be some other crypt species that would fit the bill, but I can't think of any.
  8. The second one looks like a siamese algae eater.
  9. I was perceiving this part: to mean. The dose for 100 gallons (10 pumps) then the dose for 150 gallons (15 pumps). If they meant 100 grams. Then I want to clarify I am not suggesting one dose 200 grams of easy green every day. @madcracked can you clarify what you meant?
  10. I agree, it should be fine. I am injecting co2 with my neos, vampire and amano shrimp. If you are worried about injecting too much co2, I would use a drop checker to test the co2 level and and make sure to have an air stone.
  11. I like the structure. I would consider using rocks that contrast more with the wood though. They kinda blend in as is.
  12. I personally would dose a lot more easy green until you get to your desired Nitrate level. You could do a 200g dose every day until your nitrates are at 20+ppm.
  13. Unfortunately, not really. I did find this video helpful though for tips on catching fish.
  14. What temperature is the water?
  15. Would it be possible to just let them float in the established tank? Otherwise I would put them in a container with some tank water and place it somewhere it can get some light. You could also use something like a HOB breeder box and just let them float in there https://www.amazon.com/Marina-Hang-On-Breeding-Box-Medium/dp/B005QRDDJ2/ref=sr_1_1?crid=14Y1FC7PV40D6&keywords=fluval%2Bbreeder%2Bbox%2Bsmall&qid=1683479758&sprefix=fluval%2Bbreeder%2Bbox%2Bsmal%2Caps%2C224&sr=8-1&th=1
  16. The other thing I've done is get a piece of glass cut to the size I want from this seller on amazon https://a.co/d/b0lXt9y Then just stuck an adhesive handle to it to help slide it on and off.
  17. I like the aqueon versa tops. It looks like the 30x12 one fits a 20 long. There's a plastic strip at the back that you can drill holes through for tubing.
  18. I have the itc 308 and I really like it. I have it attached to two iceprobe chillers and a heater and it regulates temperature well. Customer service is pretty good also. Mine stopped working, so I ordered a new one and contacted support. They gave me a full refund for the 2nd one I purchased.
  19. I redid the terrestrial portion of my fiddler crab paludarium. I'm using a proper terrarium soil mix this time instead of sand, upgraded my light to a proper grow light and have a humidity control system.
  20. Wait, do the tweezers still open far enough to grab stuff with the tubing over the tip? Or do you have to grab something, then slip the tubing over the tip?
  21. I really like the fluval one: Fluval CO2 Indicator Kit https://a.co/d/a5VBwxO I find them easier to fill, easier to prevent the liquid from spilling out and easier to read than glass ones like the one seachem makes.
  22. I just rinse mine. If that doesn't work, I would wipe off the grime with a paper towel or something like an algae scrubber.
  23. My favorites are rotala blood red, ludwigia super red, ludwigia rubin, ludwigia pantanal and tiger lotus.
