@Chick-In-Of-TheSea picture this in the guppy girl grow out 20 long. Instead of trimming I’m going to let it grow in full. The nerites Yardbirds are already there.5AA7FA87-0C03-4954-8B26-B8878FC64267.png.ed041a1ca4c8f2b8826b50bda50c361f.png6B5A9C79-6A56-4D89-9E7D-9B50EC0938A0.png.3db909f6f13ad2b2f97b914d00d51c31.png2D9287E4-5A35-4968-9953-848DB8540D9A.png.a8bb6ee3117cb80a02d1834d4cf12a25.png7EC1593F-8990-44AB-BB78-9F078CB688D3.png.7b3f5d2fce56e5c7dcc11430c43a431d.png25730F5A-3173-468E-92CE-F1B4CB27AFCE.jpeg.357417f531dfbca6ef87c71406de0705.jpeg Once these girls grow up and get adopted I just doing community breeding.  I finally got to see my blue boys turn out exactly as I envisioned. So now I’m kinda over doing that much work and having that many guppy tanks.

Working on a 2 day haircut. I’m guessing Dean slept on Caramels shell 🤣A64BEF81-80F8-451F-8B19-82E78A89D315.jpeg.c00f93431a8c6606267efad08560ceb4.jpeg

Last one visible this morning then he went to the substrate and disappeared. So I’m guessing they dug themselves in for a nap after 24/7 food frenzy. 6094CD05-C195-493F-ACB3-A687648B6D3C.jpeg.bdec1c91fc4472b2deb2a64a616ab74c.jpeg
last bit of Riccia on the tree. Tiny terrorists  are digging under it to get it up 🙄. I’ll just let it float. Maybe it will form a large floating ball. The guppies picked the guppy grass to shreds so now it floats everywhere. I’ll let that hang out until it gets long and try again. Thinking of glueing the Riccia to a mesh bag piece of material then glueing and zip typing it to the tree. I really liked my Dr Seuss tree ☹️99EF5F84-7E00-4942-8FB6-4A553EBC88C2.jpeg.d0065cd82082e78b5163d389e235c7bb.jpegEEA4705C-8841-4E78-9603-7DFEA4DD0BF8.jpeg.5e438b2f8c02baf70e3355fa2a5f8ba9.jpeg561F0490-0DBF-42D0-8F8F-CE68865E89C7.jpeg.7eb8165a550c3144d8b29e20dc8f3dcb.jpeg

@Katherine he is chestnut brown with stripes. The stripes were not as noticeable actually hardly noticeable at all before his algae grew. You can see it in the smaller spire rings. I’m uncertain if the algae stripped his color or if it softened the outer layer just enough that the nerite is removing the color layer. I actually pushed to make certain his shell is not soft. It is not. Perhaps his shell just lightened as it grew. 🤷‍♀️  I’m uncertain but it definitely is something I’m watching.

@Chick-In-Of-TheSea I just checked him an hour ago. Still eating and active. His shell looks more distinctly like something chewed on him. There are distinct teeth marks. I can see flesh cover with a thin membrane layer. His shell looked like it cracked through from this, but fused because it is not level. His growth after the crack is patterned very different.  So he is doing well. He seems happy. I left him and another zebra in the shrimp/panda fry tank so he has company and I can keep a good eye on him. Because of all the very deep teeth marks close together and flesh only covered with membrane it’s not safe to repair. My attempts would likely cause more harm than good. Clean water and trust Mother Nature.  He is giving no signs of any type of distress.

The little 2.5 g bow Snailtopia is being retired. I had set the funny tank up to raise the magentas I’m hatching. With the panda fry in there I cannot vac debris. They hide in the mulm. So I went to get Froggin crickets today and they have several versions on the 5G aquatop all in 1 setup. Looked pretty decent so I picked up the cube.  Only place I can put it and only stinking plug in 2 fish rooms I have left is right where Snailtopia resides. This tank looks so awesome setup in the store. It’s a shame it’s going to be upon a bottom shelf under another tank ☹️

Babies are due to start hatching in a few days

Now let’s see how fast I can yuck up this tank and make it one of my ugly fry tanks 🤣

So I’m impressed with this all in one they put thought into it.

I set a stopwatch. 12 minutes from box open to complete with light turned on for setup. That included taking pictures. Of course I didn’t read the destructions 🤣

the filter can be positioned anywhere on the back. The light sits in a chamber in the back. So high light plants one side slow growing low light on the other to avoid a bit of algae. Or all higher light plants. Even a corner cut out on the lid for plugs. Bottom of the filter is filled with bio media ceramic rings. I’ll leave those. Not using floss and cartridge I’ll put in sponge.

Filter comes with fry/shrimp guard. Outflow is 360 adjustable direction control. I could easily zip tie sponge on the outflow to baffle it for thing like Betta etc.

YAY 👏 I’m pleased with the new mystery snail “Snursery” to borrow @Darth Mollusk name. 🤗
