Daniel
I think at this point I have more plants growing out of the top of the 1930s aquarium than I have growing underwater.🙂 5

H.K.Luterman
All of my display tanks are just a big carpet of duckweed from the top down, so I took a pic of my plastic quarantine bin. Currently housing a baby albino senegal bichir, growing out to be eventually added into my 75 gal.
Joshua14
I love a top view Tuesday idea! The only one I currently have in my phone is of my 2.5 gallon fry tank. It currently houses about 20 bronze corydoras.

Daniel
I bought some Baby's Tears (Micranthemum umbrosum) from the Co-Op back in October for a project and did my usual practice of ignoring the aquarium I put the baby's tears in for quite a while. In addition I have 2 kinds of duckweed Spirodela polyrhiza also known as Giant duckweed and Lemna minor regular duckweed in this aquarium. Today when I finally got around to moving the duckweed to our compost pile I noticed something odd. The putative duckweed was noticeably elevated out the water and had stems between leaf nodes. The duckweed is in fact emmersed baby' tears. This is really cool to know as this would also make a good bubble nest habitat for sparkling gouramis. This is also an excellent form algae control as the aquarium underneath the baby's tears, giant duckweed mat is dark and bereft of nutrients.

I planted parrot feather yesterday, and today it has broken the surface. Fast grower!! Never heard of that plant before. I can see why they named it that. It is pretty.😊

Isaac M
Peace lilly flowering in my 55 gallon 40 Breeder has become a jungle Hilariously overgrown hygrophila in my 29 gallon with some purple flowers. The tallest stem is about 5’6” tall including the stand, the stem plant itself is about 32” tall (yes I measured it for this post 😂).
