    most defiantly detritus worms dont add any fish or plants yet empty tank and do a lot of cleaning, rocks (sand), glass, deco, ect., refill add your water conditioner and let the tank cycle when adding fish get cory's trio meds and Quarantine for a couple weeks (or follow instructions on quarantine meds)

    i was referred to Rachael O'learys you tube video and other you tube videos found out its not algae but mold and its all over my wood i was told to do nothing cause it will go on it's own and/or get the amano shrimp or again just do nothing iv got otos, corydora's and nerite snail in the tank and bare bottom tank its on the bottom glass and wood the live stock dont seem to be interresd in it so im going to just leave it alone like the videos say and see what happens thank-you everyone

    to my understanding true or normal Julii has dots and a fake has a stripe looked it up on you tube cause i had the same question myself and this is what i got normal Julii has dots and false Julii has stripes like the picture above .

    well woke up this morning to feed my gold barbs and swimming on the top half of my tank was a loan gold barb fry so I got him/her out and put him/her in a breeding tank my other fry are doing good and eating reg. food so there about ready to be put in the 20-gallon tank with the big guys(their parents ) and the loan fry can be put in the quarantine tank

    At what point a gold barb fry is no longer a fry i would love to put my fry back with the parents but not sure its safe for the fry can any one please help

    try washing your tank with Dawn dish soap wash your gravel outside with a hose till water runs clear if you have live plants do a proxide dip and place back in tank( about 20% proxide to equal part water for 10 sec. ) fake plants you can wash with the Dawn make sure to rise well, dont over feed and do about 25% water change once a week if you over feed use a turkey baster and siphon any left over foods your babies dont eat, and get api water test kit and do a water test each time you do a water change all this should keep your tank clean and free from any smells have a blessed day and enjoy you fish babies

    oh wow my barbs had this day before yesterday i looked it up on you tube and it could be according to the video either a infection or worms so i got my trio meds from cory out and im treating it now sorry i have no pic.
