  1. sorry to hear the bad news keep us up to date
  2. that's a good question if it was me I would rinse it out with tap water then soak it in peroxide rinse again then soak it in a bowl of tank water for about ten minutes to 15 minutes then reuse it in your tank but that's me others might have other ideas what to do that is if it was used once before and not put in a box but left out to gather dust if used and put in a box then I would just wet it down with tap water and soaked in tank water for 10-15 minutes then put in tank

  9. Get a skimmer for your tank they do cause problems cory has a couple good videos on you tube concerning them i hugest watching them
  10. i used to breed ghost shrimp if your thinking of doing that you will need to get guppy grass which they love java moss, wood like cholla wood, rocks, and black water and add some shells like you get from pest snails in fact getting a couple pest snails won't hurt and a assassin snail to keep the pest snail population down, keep your ph at 7 to 8 do weekly water changes and you should be fine for breeding if you don't want to breed id still get above items for there health ps red root floater are another good plant to have in your tank Good Luck

  17. Latly noticed a over population of bladder snails in my 20 long tank so i got a few assassins to help with the issue and they just lay'ed eggs non stop and multiplying so i went to to you tube watched all and any video from everyone on how to eradicate these guys iv tried salt, yoyo loaches which is a awesome source and assassins nothing worked so this video said to try Alum powder and hey hey it worked like a charm id use the yo-yo's but there's no room left in my tank plus they'd kill my assassins and false jullii and salt and pepper cats followed instructions of this video to a tee and it really works id post a pic but my gif file is too large sorry
