I have a couple that I would recommend those being a ball python,milk snake,king snake and a corn snake. But I can’t stress enough to do your research and see what’s right for you and like in the fish world don’t buy from petco/pet smart for live animals

In my opinion it is the fluval e series i have never had a bad experience with one and there relatively cheap I’ve recommended them to friends to and they’ve said the same I tried to put a link to one but I wouldn’t let me -
Outside of my aquariums I have a Pastel ball python, albino Nelsons,3 labs and a kitten

I would go with the living room if it were me just make sure it is a decent size tank because I’ve had my dog knock over a 55 before but my 100 gallon has taken some pretty good hits and not even had the water slosh back and forth -

Gallon tank for at most 1 year until I am done building my fish room I am also wondering if they can be fed frozen bloodworms if thawed in tank water first or are they like figure 8s who need things like snails to trim there teeth
