  1. I think he's asking for BN plecos 😉 doesn't @Dean’s Fishroom breed a lot of plecos? I would if I could, but shipping form Switzerland could be a tad extravagant!
  2. Maybe with some new stock form aquashella it might finally work! Good Luck and keep us posted!
  3. No not really, a friend did it in a 20 gal and bred half a ton of them!
  4. A couple of unscrupulous companies in Asia and Eastern Europe take an average tetra (or glass catfish) and inject it with neon colours into its back and belly muscles. About 15% die after this, and the colours fade away (absorbed by the body) after around 7-8 months. I think the only reason why it's done is because the 8yo newbie to the hobby loves the look of 'Disco Tetras'. Alternatively you can just play around with fish pics on a laptop!:
  5. Strong flow usually helps, as they lay their eggs around the filter area, maybe a couple of pleco caves here and there, and make sure pH and nitrate/trite is at tolerable levels. Welcome to the forum btw!
  6. Post a couple of pictures once you've finished please!
  7. To be honest, it depends on the species of turtle you decide on!
  8. Have you tried burying them deeper? Maybe wedge them under a stone if the substrate is too shallow.
  9. Start your own ! I know , easy to say, hard to do. ⚠️Idealistic youngster ALERT!
  10. 20 or so gouramis or gallons? I really should start doing some gouramis…
  11. @CornAndCrawlers can tell you what a scud looks like (he’s trying to catch them with some turkey i think 😂)
  12. It think its some kind of insect larvae. Try netting it out or introducing a surface orientated fish (African Butterfly Fish, etc)
  13. They could be some kind of insect larvae, try adding an (this may sound outlandish) African Butterfly Fis my or another kind of surface oriented fish. Alternatively try netting them out. Have a nice day!
  14. This may sound weird @Flumpweesel, but a friend did his A-level project on wood lice!
  15. How long does it take to grow that size crypt?
