  1. What substate are you using? specific brand/product? Just curious because I'm looking for a cheap substrate for my 75.

  5. The plants that are on your list are both water column feeders and root feeders. I advise you using root tabs and liquid fertilizer. Aquarium co-op sells both. I think easy carbon is used to limit algae growth in some situations.

  8. Ok, thats the ideal nitrate level for plants. But try not to go above 30 ppm.
  9. I think you are good. The bio load is fish waste, and beneficial bacteria is all over your tank, so it shouldn't be a big issue. A bigger problem would be nitrate build up.
