RachelElizabeth
My roommate was looking at my aquarium and suggested that I add some purple colored fish. I thought about it for a while, but I couldn't really come up with anything purple other than maybe glofish. Does anyone know of any naturally purple freshwater aquarium fish? Now I'm super curious! GameCzar
Purple Dragons are gorgeous, there's also a Royal Purple Discus, but I think that one's tough to get. Lots more purple options in saltwater, sadly.

Fish Folk
Agreed with @WhitecloudDynasty Here’s a couple videos of our Rainbow Shiners. Very nice pink / purple / blue hues when mature… They get pink-red when spawning … 4

anewbie
Some dwarf cichlid are purplish; for example borelli blue can lean torwards purple. Also black neon tetra are not black they are actually a very dark purple 😉 Edited August 5, 2021 by anewbie

Steph’s Fish and Plants
I don’t think anyone’s mentioned this, but purple harlequin rasboras. They’re great especially for those “nano” tanks. Throw a group of 6 in there, they’re not necessarily neon purple like a Glo fish but they are a nice deep purple.

Fish Folk
Alrighty… I’m going to toss in another rare dwarf Cichlid: “Purple Smiler” — Laetacara araguaiae… They tend to only color up fully when spawning. We had three pairs, and several spawns encouraged by using rain water to spawn them. Their coloration varies depending upon their comfort, food, water quality, context, and overall mood. A similar dwarf Cichlid in the same genus is the Laetacara curviceps… Bear in mind that these are probably shot beneath colored lighting, and photoshopped. Still… inspiring! 4
Taco Playz
A purple Neo would be cool. I’d totally buy that. I’d do guppies. Even if you can’t find a strain that is purple you could get pinkish purple ones. I have a strain going right now where the males have a pinking purple line running across them.
