  1. Welcome to the forum. As a semi new nerm myself the forum is amazing as is the YouTube channel. Learning so much every day. I started with 5g betta then 36g community then 10g guppy tank and 29g grow out and now need a 49 breeder since supervise I have 94 corydora fry. Guess I’m breeding corycats now haha
  2. My Corycat fry are getting bigger by the day. Not having to zoom in anymore to find them. Quick question who had a journal of corydoras I swear someone told me about on few months back and I can’t remember who it was. I think they had a 125g tank I’m my memory serves me correctly
  3. How that’s hot pink. Not sure I like that wild colorization.
  4. Great info will have to save this one for sure and try once I get pea puffers 😁 was fun to follow this all day.
  5. Gotcha yea that was my concern Bc I know I’d kh rose ph will automatically. I would love to stay 7.3-7.6 Bc that’s what all my community babies are use to.
  6. Ok so as a newbie back in April I had horrid ph issues with like super low kh in my tap. Well I had combated that for months until few days ago. I had used crushed coral in my filters and in media bags in my tank. It kept my ph @ 7.2 ish well fast forward to this last wk. and boom flat out at a 6 when I reslized my cycle had a hiccup. The bacteria bloom has stated to clear still struggling to get the darn kh back up so I can get my ph up again. My lfs is kinda helpful but yet not. **My question for you folks is. Can I add something like Seachem® Reef Carbonate To help raise kh in a freshwater planted tank? Has any one ever tried it . The gentleman at my local store said I can use the liquid reef calcium additive to boost that for my guppies and snails. But I found the carbonate additive later online. I just hate having suck low KH. I got to many fish and fry to worry about abs snails to wait for my coral to slowly get me back up. After adding a tad more to tank. mall my fish are unhappy and I don’t want to loose them.
  7. Yes I second the unlimited. Out of work with back issues and to keep my mind busy I’m living on the forum and YouTube for more aquarium life research. Not helping my mts at all hahaha
  8. Hmm wierd now I have reactions after 30 +min or so… ok jk it let me do one 😂😢
  9. I feed ACO fry food multiple times a day. Also after a wk or so start adding really really crushed Xstream Kroll flake. Also baby brine shrimp. They will grow like weeds promise.
  10. Noooo I’ve run out of reactions for the day 😢 totally following this
  11. Loving all these ideas as my 36 doesn’t have a lot of space to place more things stacking sponge filters is brilliant. My 29g totally has space for a stack and one more for extra seeding.
  12. 💕the coop Team…. I found them back in April 2021 and has started with 5 gal betta tank, then 36g community then 10 g nerite/guppy tank. Then 29g grow out and now have a huge 93 albino cory fry to deal with ad of this last wk.. and all my babies thriving thanks to @Cory and his team @Irene @Zenzolove all my stickers.
  13. Gorgeous tank. That driftwood is like wow. And so many friends in the tanks. I’m sure it’s a blast to watch all the interactions.
  14. @Brandon pwell I got better at egg picking 😂😂 as of tonight I have 93 albino corycat fry. 😂😳🥰 I thought I had 40-50 ish boy was I wrong. Might have a few in my main community tank too Bc I had 4 eggs hatch out in there b4 I could grab them. Some pic zoomed in a varying degrees.
  15. All great info. My mom and I want a murder bean tank. So at some point will take notes
  16. Well my head count as of tonight is 94 albino corydora fry as of tonight 😂🍷 holy cow that was hard to count. So many wigglers. I swore to my mom I had about 40-50 haha 😂 my math was way off. But I’m so excited all these happy lol faces
  17. Mine are guppies, and now albino Corydora fry has about 31 -40 fry as of tonight so many wigglers and as a pretty new nerm I’m stoked. I hadn’t done anything special and my corycats made me a grandfishma 😂😂😂 sorry my phone jusy couldn’t focus well was in process of moving from egg tumbler
  18. I use the coop test strips more now than ever. Api test when somethings a bit off on strips. Just to see better numbers. I have extra tubes and test all 4 tanks at once so much easier with api kits.
  19. So far my mom loves the tanks. Bc her evil cat eats all her plants. So this way they are sealed planted areas in the home 😁 and she likes the idea of pea puffers. I’m bringing her to dark side slowly but Shirley 😂😂😂 my dad thinks it’s all dumb I think but to each their own my son loves it all. He’s learning to count Thanks to loads of guppy fry and snails. He’s 4 and already remembers certain names of things in the community tank. Proud mamma moment. The water noises are relaxing since we all work our tails off most of the time.
  20. Thank you I definitely got lucky with the spotted patterned ones. They are my favorites for sure
  21. Hi I’m Cory, I have MTS. I started with a 5 gallon betta tank on my nightstand, within a wk I had 36gallon community going in my living room. The. Within a month or two got 10 gallon on my dresser. Had two qt tubs going in living room, then added a 29gallon grow out tank next to 36g. And already have plans for pea puffer tank. Bc well my snails are taking over. I have guppies galore and my corycats are breeding like mad as of late so waiting to see what fry count I get from that. some fun pic attached of my journey from April 2021 to now In these tanks are: Japan blue guppies, purple mosaic guppies, albino corydoras, cherry shrimp, nerites “zebra&tigers” rams horns snails, and bladder snails. All planted. Platinum Betta, my. plans to get pea puffers in their own 20g octagon, hillstream loaches for 36 gallon. And more shrimp.
  22. How some awesome planted tanks. Definitely wished more USA stores did this.
