    I have hard well water and was wondering what would happen if I installed a water softener for the house. Is this safe for the fish? I currently have 3 tanks set up that have been up for 6 mo to 2 years.

    I do, it keeps me busy when I am stressed. When all the lights are off except for the fish tanks I sit and watch them in the dark, it is so peaceful.

    Hi my name is Beth, I am new to the hobby. I had fish as a kid and got back into it almost 2 years ago. I have a 55 gallon community tank, a 29 gallon with nano fish, a mini pond with rice fish on my deck and a aquascaped Fluvel Spec with no livestock. I watched countless hours of YouTube videos to learn and continue to do so. I live on our family farm in Idaho and am a photographer as well.
