    That normal for them, they get lighter and darker depending on their mood. The head band will only show up on the yellow white cloud. Vietnamese white cloud gets darker black and normal white cloud get red

    I won't call it dominant, some male have more color than other and some are moody than other. I have bred more colorful male with less aggression, but the end result those male can't handle the more aggressive female lol Take a photo of your gold patch, it should like stress to me

    I'm not surprised, longfin is in every fish gene. I bred a 2 longfin rainbow shiner before also, but they got cull out due to other reason. Yes she gonna have alot of work ahead of her, Sounds like fun

    Great update! When I add anything into the water I add more air. It's raise the tds mean it taking up more space and less oxygen can get in

    Sounds pretty normal to me, they act like that if they have enough space and other active fish to mess with. Yes female can flash also..those will be the harder female to breed from. Every male will clam their own spot and lure a female in to spawn. If you watch them close enough they have their own fav male or fav female Be careful since they all can cross breed

    I have used it a few time with no problem but I run alot of air in my aquarium. I recommend removing the lid and cranking up the air. You want the bubble to break the surface

    Thats great! I also grow my own and replant every year. I even raise pigeon to put their waste back into the soil, only water the garden with pond water, pigs cut my grass, and duck take care of the bugs. But true corn, carrot, apple, ect...has been linebred to look like how they do today, size, color, taste.

    Thats correct! The gene is there already, we the breeder is only bring that gene out more and not add a different gene to the fish.

    In the right setup bubble eye goldfish can live for a long time...not as long as a common but most common become feeder anyway so it all depends on how you look at it. I dont have any fish I dislike, I have respect for them all and the breeder who created them. I can't dislike some else's passion. What I dislike is ppls breeding unhealthy fish and passing it down for generations. Short body can cause problems Yes, but some will be fine. Breeding for health before conformation even if it take 2 or 3 more generations to get the right conformation

    I think its better to keep it just for us member, yea it'll be less fish and less variety. But more people will only cause more problem, at least everyone here feel and understand each other.

    Putting his pair together The male is out of the Japanese yellowfin stock Their babies should be good enough to cross back into the redline or the golden. This will also help out to widen the gene pool.

    To maximize their growth I would feed them a few times a day with small amount. You can do 50% waterchange daily..theyll get use to it. I use to breed alot of Ryukin and kept 100s in a 110 stock tank..they would get 100% water change daily but it was drip in. Just remember quality food, water quality, high lv dissolved oxygen, and exercise is what you should aim for

    That remind me of the one swiss tropicals use on their. It move alot of water but can get clog up easily.

    Clean water and salt goes a long way. I'm raise 100s of babies, so I'll have some more for you in the future. But chances are I won't have full adult.

    They do fine..just give them a shallow area where they can rest or hide at night from the goldfish

    They are easy fish to keep, just keep the DO high and they'll be fine.

    Yes this is what they look like 90% of the time. I'm guessing with enough work you can create a family that stay fire up longer and have a stronger yellow band
