  1. I love your staircase tank. And I think so do the snails.
  2. The outputs are indeed identical. As printed on the side, 5V/ 2.1A.
  3. I would bet money that this is what is called an Inle Loach. Petruichthys Brevis. Characteristics include the bent spine seen in one of the photos you provided.
  4. That heater traps a lot of air. Just try clearing it some more and make sure no bubbles are blowing into it from a filter or something.
  5. I'm with you. Leave it and watch it grow. I really like the branching swoosh look.
  6. I would mount the heater low in the water column and make sure there is no air trapped inside of the housing.
  7. I'm not sure you can call it art, but I do display it. Fossil my sister gave me long ago.
  8. Usually the co-op has good plants, but in this case you should get it replaced. I would not be happy with that.
  9. I should add they are not too expensive and they seem to be popular. Mine have that greenish sheen on their gill plates when the light hits them just right.
  10. May I suggest Orange Venezuelan. Here's one of mine.
  11. My advice to me would be don't use fluval stratum. Do use sand. Don't skimp, get the good stuff.
  12. I love that piece of drift wood. Of course, and the shrimp.
  13. Good to hear this tanks has settled down for you. I'm looking forward to updates on the reset .
  14. Glad you brought that up. Mine goes out of date on 2/2023. These poor fish better get ready for an overdose of Repashy this week!
  15. Your tank is absolutely beautiful. I appreciate that you do not attempt to hide the algea and other natural life that exists in a well balanced system while at the same time show the dedication to beautiful aquascape. Well done, Sir.
  16. I use very few features on my "smart"phone. It seems like nothing more than a tracking device to me. And now my newest car wants me to sync my phone to this obnoxious computer screen that's mounted on the dash. Not too "smart" if you ask me.
  17. If you are using Fritz Guard or a similar water conditioner with Aloe Vera, that could be the problem. The aloe seems to be attracted to silicone tubing and plastic like the suction cup on your thermometer. It collects like slime on these certain parts in the tank. I used to use it but find it kind of gross so I use Fritz Complete instead.
  18. Looks like your kh and ph are very low. You might try adding a couple pounds of crushed coral to the substrate. Also your light is set kind of weak. Maybe bump it up to 30% at first, for a month or two to see if that helps. 40% might work well. Also, duration could be increased to six or eight hours per day. Your plants growing well at first then hitting the wall, so to speak, could indicate a need for more fertilizer.
  19. This is my shy, or should I say scared to death, orange Venezuelan Cory's. I only have five of them so I guess that's the problem. If you remain motionless long enough they will come out.
  20. Very cool stonefish-like coloration.
