  1. The clear edges are usually a sign of fin regrowth what I would suggest is adding Indian almond leaves as they have antibacterial and antifungal properties depending on the quality of the leaves you might have to add one leaf per gallon to get a beneficial effect and I would keep the salt at 1 table spoon for 5 gallons and monitor for a couple of week give an update if it starts to get worse @Christina CC
  2. Looks like a bacterial infections on the one with the red patch or other looks like over production of the slime coat the spot could also be have a bacterial component Congo tetra could have prolapse you can do Epsom salt baths 1 table spoon for 1 gallon for no more than 15 minutes for 5 days as Epsom salt acts as a muscle relaxant to help the fish reabsorb the prolapse little more information would be helpful what are your water parameters ammonia nitrite nitrate etc @stevelle
  3. Everything I have read about golden barbs zebra danios and wcmm suggest no going below 64
  4. As your in the UK I would quarantine and treat with NT labs acriflavine and aquarium salt 1 table spoon for 2 gallons I would start at 1 table spoon for 3 gallons gradually increase it over 24 hr if you notice any destress do a water change to the lower the level of salt acriflavine treats fungal and bacterial infections coupled with the salt is an effective treatment
  5. Looks like a fungal infection with a secondary bacterial infection what I would do is treat with maracyn and ick X and add some aquarium salt 1 table spoon for 5 gallons that will aid Gill function and add essential electrolytes @Milburn95
  6. With camallanus worms Expel p kill paralyzes the parasite allowing it to be expelled then you want to do a thorough gravel vac to remove eggs and expelled larvae it can take 4 or 5 treatments with levamisole just remember to black your tank out for 24 HR when treating with levamisole as it's a light sensitive medication
  7. Love the wood cats planet catfish has some good breeding reports
  8. Colu

    Tiger Limia

It's safe to do another courses of maracyn and ick X
  9. I would just do a shrimp or snail tank or a Betta in a tank that size
  10. My favourite filters are Fluval canister filters I have used them for 18 years I have a 307 on my goldfish tank at the moment with ziss 300F bubble fliter for extra biological filtration
  11. Colu

    Parasite cleanse

I wouldn't go above 70 with dojo loach the higher temperatures will significantly shorten his life span if you can't lower temperature in this tank because of your other fish then I would move him and gradually start to bring his temperature down 68-70 @Dr.rex
  12. Doesn't look like a fungal infection could have been an injury on this Cory or a bacterial infection you can get these patches on the back with columnaris usually when you lose multiple fish in short time it would be poor water quality such as high ammonia nitrite nitrate or bacterial infection temperature shock your water parameters look fine columnaris can cause massive die off in 24hr without your fish showing any symptoms usually you would get white patches on the body and mouth rot or white lips fish don't always get these symptoms this is what could have happened here I can't be 100% sure that is the cause
  13. Did the other fish that died have the same symptoms as the first Cory that got sick also did you notice any white patches on they body or white lips any redding on the body @EvanT
  14. Possibility he could have been flaring at his reflection that would cause already injured fins to split @Chick-In-Of-TheSea
  15. What your temperature and pH had you recently done a water change before the die off if so did you use a water conditioner also can you post a picture of the tank @EvanT
  16. I would add some crushed coral to help raise your KH you can use a media bag and put it in your filter
  17. Cloudy water usually a sign of poor water quality ammonia or nitrite the gunk around your plants could be biofilm growing on the rotting plant matter guppies can do well with a pH of 7 to 7.5 as long as your KH is high enough @PerceptivePesce
  18. I love the colours of wild variatus platys such as xiphophorus variatus puente escalanar and Rio nautla some species have marked sexual morphism such as xiphophorus variatus La Laguna
  19. You will need to black out your tank for 24hr as active ingredient in Expel p levamisole is light sensitive medication
  20. As they have had some of the symptoms I described then I would treat them with Expel p once a week for 4 weeks
  21. You could try Epsom salt baths 1 table spoon for 1 gallon for no more than 15 minutes for 5 days as Epsom salt acts as a muscle relaxant to help relieve pressure on the swim bladder I would also recommend doing a course of metroplex in food feeding a small amount twice a day for up to 3 weeks depending of how their doings
  22. Driftwood contains celluose and lignin they are crucial part of wood eating plecos diet they still need to feed a balance diet rich in plant matter and some protein as well @The endler guy
