  1. If it's advance fin rot I would do a course of kanaplex as most cases of fin rot are caused by gram negative bacterial and I would keep the salt at one table spoon for 3 gallons and add some Indian almond leaves as they have antibacterial and antifungal properties as @KittenFishMom suggested keep stable water parameters remember to only put the amount of salt back in that you take out so if you do a 50% water changes put half a table spoon of salt back in @MoonMom I have stopped recommending kanaplex in food after @Odd Duckpointed out it poorly absorbed by the intestinal tract so it's less effective than adding to the tank
  2. What are your water parameters ammonia nitrite nitrate etc any rapid breathing listlessness hanging near the surface flashing spitting food out sunken belly @Fishy101
  3. Platys are fine with this level of salt
  4. Higher temperatures speed up the life cycle of ich I wouldn't go above 80 with platys what I would do is treat with ick X and aquarium salt 1 table spoon for 3 gallons as ich causes massive electrolyte loss and the salt will add back in essential electrolytes @FyaNyan
  5. Maracyn does suppose to treat columnaris Maracyn say it treats columnaris from people I no who have used it hasn't been very effective they have suffered higher mortality rates among their fish they have seen better success when using maracyn with a high levels of aquarium salt but loaches and catfish don't tolerate high levels of salt well couldn't say for sure if it was the salt or the combination of the two that increase survival rates
  6. Columnaris is a gram negative bacterial maracyn predominantly treat gram positive and some gram negative bacteria the combination of jungal fungus clear and Kanaplex is most effective treatment for columnaris I have found I would finish the course of maracyn and monitor for any similar symptoms jungal fungus clear fizz tabs is safe to use with invertebrates the amount of nitrofurazone is under dosed so it won't harm your shrimp or snails kanaplex can cause shrimp and snails to slow down I what you could is a course of maracyn2 in food feeding a small amount twice a day for 7 days maracyn2 is safe to use with invertebrates and jungal fungus clear fizz tabs containing nitrofurazone to treat the tank that's if you need to follow up with more treatment @Clo
  7. You can follow up with another course of the medicated food in three weeks if you think they need it
  8. It looked like an injury in the first pictures the fact it progressed so quickly it could be columnaris that's a gram negative bacterial that spreads more quickly at higher temperatures and can kill your fish in a couple of hour to a week depending on the strain if you notice any other fish developing similar symptoms I would start treating straight away with kanaplex and jungal fungus clear fizz tabs containing nitrofurazone following this treatment plan @Clo
  9. Usually you want do I a course of paracleanse on week1 week3 and week5 three courses of treatment is usually enough to deal with flukes what I would suggest is doing a course of levamisole in food feeding a small amount twice a day for 7 days the combination of paracleanse and levamisole will treat most commonly encountered parasites
  10. I would say an injury I would just monitor for a couple of days it should heal on its own you could add some Indian almond leaves as they have antibacterial and antifungal properties did the other one you found dead have any injury's or signs of disease @Clo
  11. your water parameters and temperature are fine i would just try and get your nitrates lower as @nabokovfan87suggested odd random deaths every now and then can be a parasitic infection but yours aren't showing any symptoms of a parasitic infections also I would have expected losses with your other fish and not just the endlers when they were flashing how often were they doing it @Doke
  12. Could be epistylis it feeds off gram negative bacterial on the skin of your fish and spreads more quickly at higher temperatures the most effective treatment is kanaplex in food feeding a small amount twice a day for 7 days and ick X to treat the tank
  13. Looks like an injury could have swim into something in the tank I would do Epsom salt baths 1 table spoon for 1 gallon for no more than 15 minutes for 5 days that will help reduce the swelling and I would add some Indian almond leaves as they have antibacterial and antifungal properties depending on the quality of the leaves you might have to add one leaf per gallon to get a beneficial effect @Troy328
  14. What I would do is treat with aquarium salt 1 table spoon for 5 gallons at that level it shouldn't harm your plants and Indian almond leaves as they have antibacterial and antifungal properties depending on the quality of leaves you might have to add one leaf per gallon to get the benefial effect @Karen B.
  15. It depends of how you store bottled bacterial it can die resulting in an ammonia spike when added to your tank
  16. Zebra danios would go well with your wcmm
  17. Are the spots raised or flat
  18. What I would do is get the KH up and add the aquarium salt and monitor for a week if you notice her getting worse in that time update I don't think it necessary to add maracyn2 at this point you can use maracyn2 with salt @Tropicalfishkeeping201
  19. I think the low KH is the cause of what your seeing I would also add some aquarium salt 1 table spoon for 3 gallons that will help reduce any possible fluid buildup in the eye
  20. Your KH is on the low side for Molly's they like a KH above 178ppm I would add some crushed coral to help raise your KH and have you got a better picture of the other eye for comparison has she recently given birth as livebearers commonly have complications when giving birth @Tropicalfishkeeping201
  21. typo ment 0.5ml per liter that's 2ml per gallon
  22. That what I was thinking of but couldn't remember the name
  23. Never kept clown killifish so hopefully someone else will chip in
  24. A 75 gallon tank should be ok for 1 clown loach when you get him I would start to feed him small meals multiple times a day for a week to see if he starts to put on weight if he doesn't than I would treat with paracleanse
