  1. These type of lumps can also be caused by neon tetra disease primafix and melafix are just mild antiseptic treatment i wouldn't use them for anything more serious as @xXInkedPhoenixXsaid @GoDawgsGo when did the symptoms start and how quickly did your other fish develope these lumps
  2. If your going to use a sponge filter in the tank with your neon after you have finished with it I would throw away the sponge and disinfect the filter using a 3 hydrogen peroxide solution
  3. @Guppysnail would be the one to ask about snails
  4. Frist you could put your neon tetra in a breed box try and target feed him with a dropper and some frozen or live foods such as brine shrimp Cyclops micro worms micro pellets you might have to follow up with a second course of kanaplex and jungal fungus clear fizz tabs if your fish are still showing symptoms columnaris can last for upto 30 days in a fish tank with out a host so i would leave it a minimum of 6 weeks after you see the last symptoms before adding any new fish to that tank just if you do a second course of treatment after that I would leave the aquarium salt at 1 table spoon for 2 gallons for another week
  5. If you ammonia is 5ppm that that would be the cause of the behaviour your seeing the only safe level of ammonia is zero
  6. EBO has some of the best quality foods their spirulina tabs have 30% spirulina EBO veggie sticks are good quality 50% peas 50% pumpkin would be good for Cory's difficult to source if your in the USA @nabokovfan87

    Diagnosis Help

It's a very potent antibiotic treatment one level scoop for 10 gallons just one scoop if your adding it to food scoop comes with the medication
  8. I would just do a 25% water change that should be sufficient as the amount of nitrofurazone in jungal fungus is under dosed that's why I add the extra doses day two three and five

    Diagnosis Help

Looks like a bacterial infections that spread to the Gill I would stop treating with paracleanse it won't have much of an effect in this instance and I would start treating with kanaplex it's a more broad spectrum antibiotic treatment in food feeding a small amount twice a day for 7 days and aquarium salt 1 table spoon for 2 gallons
  10. If your going off the instructions on the box for jungal fungus clear fizz tabs it say to treat on day 1 and day 4 so that's why I add the extra doses on day two three and five so just use one table for 10 gallons on day 5
  11. If ick attack is working keep treating with it if your not see much improvement when ick X arrives I would do a water change and start treating with ick x
  12. Some information be helpful what are your water parameters ammonia nitrite nitrate etc have you added any new fish to the tank recently and does it have a fuzzy appearance to the mouth @BBQRacer
  13. Your water parameters look fine if it were anchor worms you would want to treat with hikari cyropro
  14. The most effective treatment for columnaris is a combination of kanaplex and jungal fungus clear fizz tabs containing nitrofurazone following this treatment plan
  15. What I would do is monitor for the next week update if you think it's getting worse if it's slime coat it's usually caused by poor war quality he's some pictures of anchor worms for comparison @ApiApi
  16. It could be excess slime coat have you added anything new to the tank recently any rapid breathing listlessness loss of appetite do you use a water conditioner when doing water changes @ApiApi
  17. It's could be caused by a number of things viral infection or cysts encapsulated nematode worms what I would do is salt and maracyn2 for one week if you see no improvement after a week I would start treating with levamisole once a week for 4 weeks @caylentor
  18. As other fish have developed these lump what I would do is treat with a combination of aquarium salt 1 table for 2 gallons and maracyn2 in food the active ingredient minocycline also has anti-inflammatory properties
  19. Very low pH slows down the growth of your benefial bacteria that could have attributed to the raise in nitrates
  20. You could add some floating plants such as water lettuce Amazonian frogbit or quick growing stem plants like hornwort elodea to help soak up some of your nitrates
  21. Ick x is also safe to use with invertebrates ich causes massive electrolyte loss so I would add a small amount of aquarium salt 1 table for 10 gallons that will add back in essential electrolytes
  22. I think most of your deaths were caused by your high nitrates if they were 100ppm that will affect fish's immune system leading to secondary infection he's some of the symptoms of nitrate poisoning are rapid breathing loss of color trouble swimming laying on the bottom of the tank curling head and tail reduce feeding response what I would get your nitrates down to 20ppm add Indian almond leaves as they have antibacterial and antifungal properties depending on the quality of leaves you will have to add one leaf per gallon to get a benefial effective I would also do a course of maracyn in food just in case there's a bacterial component to the deaths @Jess
  23. If it has cotton wool like appearance then I would treat with a combination of maracyn and ick x
  24. Sorry to hear that at least your did your best to try and turn him around
