for now, leave them. they are fairly small. when they get a little bigger you can gently pluck them off and replant them, or eventually they will come off on their own.
dont move the plants, they will have ich on them as well as the rest of the tank. i myself would go with 4 or 5 tablespoons of salt in a 10g. if you have real hardy plants you can go up to 1tbs per gallon. even if you have to go heavier on the salt, most plants will bounce back from it.
the key for me is, if the silicone is still pliable, the odds are good its still safe to use. thats my story and im sticking to it. my 120 is 5 or 6 years older than your tank, and still holding water.
check out the silicone good, look it over for cracks, and ask the seller to show you it holds water. the bigger the tank, the more it cost, the more important it is to see it with water in it.
just finishing up doing the same to my 55gal today. moved it from main floor to basement near my 120, where i can watch them both , vs one or the other. it is a bunch of work. amazing how much junk one accumulates in the stand over a few years.
