I actually just got rid of a “tank” just like this. My beardie loved his soak and swim time. We had this on the deck with steps in and out and a big basking rock in it. Over the summer him and I would hang out in the afternoon. Ultra pale me obviously under the umbrella 🤣

Yes that’s a photo of Boops. That photo was his inside home. He had a summer vacation home hubby built outside as well as his swimming pool. 
 

I’ve been through 2 phones so could not find swimming pool photos on this phone.

Went to the swap today. I got to meet @Miska and @Elodie Rose 🤗

I bought tons of plants.
(Not all for me playing pack mule for a friend @TeeJay😉🤣) 

I bought new fish. I don’t have a tank though.  I almost bought these from Jen S. Smallworld Aquatics two other times. My neighbor from the fish club was at the swap. He has been a cichlid guy for decades. He has a huge fish room. I asked him if I bought them would he hold them for a few months until I get a free tank. If they breed I’ll take a pair of babies if not I’ll take these. He happily agreed of course 🤣

It was wonderful!!! Thank you so so so much! And thank you so much for showing me the swap! I got a pair of purple mosaic guppy. I was not going to, I was not. But my 36 has room and they are beautiful! I still look forward to buying pandas from you soonish!

I looooved those guys too! I know next to nothing about them so I admired them from afar! (The new fish of yours!)

I brought them home and then fed everyone a block of Daphnia and I am currently doing a three hour drip for the shrimp! @Theplatymaster I am so excited to meet you in a few weeks (hopefully).

What type of dip?  I’ve never heard of dipping shrimp.

I drip acclimate the shrimp! I use an air tubing and a medical suction bulb (so I do not have to use my mouth) and I tie a knot in it and do the drip acclimation recommended from someone online. I wish I could remember.

Yes some new plants and cultures. And maybe some other new surprises to go in my tanks. Guess you will have to stay tuned to my journals to find out what's going on. It all goes down midweek rhis upcoming week. Plenty of surprises to come!

@Chick-In-Of-TheSea today it happened. All the plants are still on the windowsill in water. Hubby went to eat his oatmeal and asked “is there a reason ALL of our spoons are on the windowsill?”  
I burst out laughing uncontrollably. He was not so amused. 🤣

Mine lives by the fish tanks now. We no longer have a meat thermometer, just a tank thermometer...

I had a fabulous afternoon. I got to meet @TeeJay and Hanna in person. They visited on their adventures. They gave me this fantastic coffee mug 😍. It’s always so fun to meet my forum friends in person. 
Hanna got to net all her own shrimp  she even managed to catch Big Red  the prettiest largest red girl  That was after she got to feed both fish rooms herself including grindal and white worms  😃

Yeah forks are totally doable!  Just let the oatmeal sit a few minutes and it gets more solid.  Perfect!  Also it is less risky to eat because it's not as hot!  Win Win!

I should just move mine too.  It's used 99% for fish tanks and 1% for meat.

Moved all the Pygmy and bandit corydora to the 40 with mom n dad. They are loving the extra space. Everyone is out zipping about. Still a touch nervous since I just moved them an hour ago. 

Set the Pygmy/bandit 20l up for apistogramma and piano snails. 

Busy day. Now water changes.
