Maybe! Might also be a good candidate for a brief dipping of the roots in your jewelry cleaner or the perhaps the waterproof speaker. Hope it works!

It’s a solid win. I just looked after only a few hours in RR. The rock wool is free floating. 🤩

and yet would there be any difference compared to just being placed in normal water...

It stays stuck. I’ve floated rock wool plants before and the tiny bits don’t budge. They hate me on a personal level. Now I am VICTORIOUS 🎉

ok, but if you put the plants in the same setup just normal water, would it do the same thing?

or is it specially the seltzer?

sorry,im just a scientist at heart, so im  running through the experiment process in my head, and there was no control...but i am getting way to sciency for this topic.

I am no longer going to pull eggs from the panda tank. I count 13-15 babies roughly at any given time. I love these babies. Always busy.

I had an adventure today. I went to my LFS and in the back room intake tanks (not customer shopping tanks) was the most awesome adorable catfish with the biggest eyes ever. I put my hand in to pull out some hair grass I was buying. It came right over and swam against my hand. I fell in love instantly. I was taking this beautiful critter home. There are no labels on the intake holding tanks and I had no idea what it was. It apparently was shipped either by mistake or as a stowaway because the store didn’t order it. 

Then my friend and the clerk said you don’t want that. It should not ever be sold as an aquarium fish because that adorable thing turns into this as an adult. 😲 I was heartbroken

I had to run back to the lfs today. I took a quick video of the Redtail cat so you folks can see why I fell in love.

redtail cats are the coolest looking of the catfish, but yeah... unless you have a swimming pool to put one in, they are beyond a bad idea.

One of my lfs keeps one as a “mascot” and it is super cool, but definitely out of the question for 99% of aquarists.

It's a huggable fish. I don't see a problem. Probably does the cute croaking sound too.  Ever hear catfish sing?
