  1. It a clown loach looks like it has a bit of a sunken belly could have internal parasites or it's been under feed @Brainsponge
  2. Use 6ml of 3% hydrogen peroxide in a 3 gallon bucket so 0.5ml per litre
  3. White stringy poop can be poop with no food in it just the mucus lining it doesn't necessarily mean your fish has parasitic infection I would just monitor if you notice any rapid breathing flashing lethargy than I would treat with paracleanse @SC Fish
  4. Sorry to hear that you could try the medication if you think he's two far gone and you think he's suffering you can humanely euthanize him with clove oil
  5. What are your water parameters ammonia nitrite nitrate etc is he eating any rapid breathing listlessness hanging near the surface flashing @SC Fish
  6. What I would do is start treating with the metronidazole in food as@Odd Ducksuggested if you can't get him to eat dose the tank and I would also add some aquarium salt 1 table spoon for 1 gallon the will aid essential electrolytes and aid Gill function and Indian almond leaves as they have antibacterial and antifungal properties
  7. It looks familiar but i can't remember the name but it's not an electric blue jack Dempsey @MAC
  8. What I do is add hydrogen peroxide to a bucket add a pump to the siphon tubing and leave it running over night
  9. I would quarantine it if you can if your seeing no improvement after a full course of maracyn I would do a course of kanaplex it's a more broad spectrum antibiotic if more fish develope these patch's I would start treating with a combination of kanaplex and jungal fungus clear fizz tabs containing nitrofurazone following this treatment plan straight away you could add a UV steriliser help get rid of your green water @Jennifer72
  10. As it's affecting both eyes that can be caused by poor water quality trauma to the eyes causing localized inflammation possible cataracts as it a young fish the chances of that are small it could be genetic and it going blind @nabokovfan87 I think it's a case of monitor keep stable water parameters and Indian almond leaves I would update in a week if theirs no improvement
  11. Active carbon will adsorb any medication you put in the tank if your going to treat you will have to remove it paracleanse shouldn't harm your benefial bacterial what I would do is add a small amount of fish food every day to provide an ammonia souce to feed your benefial bacterial to keep your cycle going @Alexis22
  12. It could be columnaris that's a gram negative bacterial that spreads more quickly at higher temperatures is it just the one fish with patch on it side @Jennifer72
  13. Possible trauma to the eye I would add Indian almond leaves and monitor for now given time it should heal fine @nabokovfan87
  14. Kanaplex can effect snails and shrimp if your going to use it with snails or shrimp in the tank I would add it to food it shouldn't affect your plants when I have used it in my planted tank I haven't noticed it affect my plants
  15. It can take a couple of days for food to go mouldy so it could be from what you feed a couple of days ago what I would do is siphon it out and see if it comes back
  16. It could be food that's gone mouldy if he's not eating
  17. You could try Epsom salt baths 1 table spoon for 1 gallon for no more than 15 minutes for 5 days to reduce the bloating as Epsom salt acts as a muscle relaxant to help relieve pressure on the swim bladder and help with constipation @Denied Taco I would also treat your dwarf gourami with aquarium salt 1 table spoon for 2 gallons for a week just remember to only add back in the amount of salt you take out so if you do a 4 gallon water change put 2 table spoons back in @Denied Taco
  18. Possibly the start of a benign or cancerous growth they are really common in Bettas due to them being heavily inbreed also it's really common for Bettas to change colour as they get older as you have already added Indian almond leaves I would also add some aquarium salt 1 table spoon for 3 gallons and monitor for a week update if it starts to get worse in that time @BettaMamaPDJ
  19. Looks like fin rot I think a course of kanaplex in food feeding a small amount twice a day for 7 days and add a small amount of aquarium salt 1 table spoon for 5 gallons at that level it shouldn't harm your plants it will aid Gill function and essential electrolytes and increase your temperature to 80-82 Bettas do when the temperature is in the low 80s
  20. It could be the start of fin rot I would stop adding seachems stability and Fritz turbostart bottled bacterial is just a waste of money and doesn't do anything in a cycled tank you only need two add API stress coat when doing water changes its been proven to not do much to speed up the healing process and API leaf zone for your plants adding that many things to your tank will be stressful to him not very beneficial what I would do is add Indian almond leaves as they have antibacterial and antifungal properties you might have to add 1 leaf per gallon to get a beneficial effect depending on the quality of the leaves and keep adding aquarium salt as he's acting lethargic I would do a course of kanaplex in food feeding a small amount twice a day for 7 days keep his temperature at 80-82 they do a lot better long term @Christina CC
  21. It's difficult to tell of your pictures It could be caused by a bacterial infection what I would do is update us after a full course of maracyn
  22. I would follow instructions on the box @ccmay
  23. What I would do is a full course of maracyn following the instructions on the box I would also add some aquarium salt 1 table spoon for 3 gallons and some Indian almond leaves as they have antibacterial and antifungal properties you might have to add one leaf per gallon to get a beneficial effect depending on the quality of leaves you can feed during treatment just reduce the feeding to once a day if you were feeding twice a day or every other day @ccmay
  24. What are your water parameters ammonia nitrite nitrate temperature @Karen B.
