  1. You say you have no filtration the gasping your seeing could be low levels of desolved oxygen I would add an extra air stone and have you got a better picture
  2. Let us no how he's doing after the Frist course of treatment I would be interested in following as I have never seen this before hopefully the treatment I have recommended will do the trick
  3. If you can't get her to take the food just dose the tank I would add some aquarium salt 1 table spoon for 2 gallons as well as the kanaplex the salt will aid Gill function and add essential electrolytes help with any possible bacterial or fungal infections just remember to only put back in the amount of salt you take out so if you do a 2 gallon water change put one table spoon of salt back in
  4. That looks like Columnaris I would treat with kanaplex and jungal fungas clear fizz tabs containing nitrofurazone together following this treatment schedule it can spread very quickly so you want to start treatment as soon as possible
  5. What I would do is add some Indian almond as they have antibacterial and antifungal properties leaves you will have to add 1 leaf per gallon to get a beneficial effect and increase water changes to lower the bacterial count in the water for a week if you notice him getting worse over the course of a week I would do a course of kanaplex in food feeding a small amount twice a day store any leftover medicated food in the fridge it a more broad spectrum antibiotic treatment as most cases of fin rot are caused by gram negative bacterial and maracyn treats gram positive bacterial
  6. Most pathogens and parasites won't survive longer then 30 days without a host you can use a very high dose of salt 5 table spoons for 1 gallon let that sit for 30 days or you can do a 3% hydrogen peroxide solution to steriliser the tank you can add it directly to the water and leave your filter running after a couple of days it will break down into H20 and oxygen gas and then leave it empty for 30 days I would also take out and sterilise all your filter heater decoration in the tank as well before reintroducing fish
  7. That looks like fish waste coming out of his vent @Atomicfish I haven't seen this before looked though my disease books couldn't find anything similar what I would do is treat with with API fungus cure active ingredient is Victoria green and acriflavine and follow that up with a broad spectrum antibiotic treatment such as kanaplex that will cover fungal and bacterial if you can I would Qarantine and treat to avoid unnecessary stress on your other fish during treatment @Sarahv
  8. I would just dose once a week for the 24hr water change and repeat the treatment in a week's time it can take up to four course of treatment just make sure to gravel vacc to remove as many of the dead worms and eggs after each treatment as for primes ok to use along side of water changes if you get an ammonia spike keep doing water changes Daily and add a double dose of prime to help detoxify any ammonia
  9. I think the best option would be to do a course of kanaplex or maracyn2 and follow up with a course of paracleanse that will cover most bases if you start to see improvement after the Frist course of antibiotic medication I would follow up with a second course @Mikeo
  10. You could add some Indian almond leaves as they have antibacterial and antifungal properties you will need to add 1 leaf per gallon to get a beneficial effect or do a course of maracyn2 active ingredient is minocycline that has proven effective at sinking some types of lumps
  11. Not sure what dosage they recommend from select aquatics I think theirs has I a different amount of the active ingredient to Expel p if you using kanaplex in food you can use the two medication at the same time or you could do a course of levamisole and then treat with kanaplex in food
  12. Do they have any visible spots as I can't see any in your pictures he's how you tell ich from Epistylis if it's Epistylis you won't to treat with kanaplex in food @Mikeo

    Help

Looking at the white patches could be Columnaris or over production of the slim coat caused by a parasite or bacterial infections what I would do is treat with kanaplex and jungal fungas clear fizz tabs containing nitrofurazone together following this treatment schedule I would remove your nerite snails as nitrofurazone isn't snail safe
  14. The fact that there in the exact same place is odd are they eating ok any odd behaviour rapid breathing
  15. What your describing could be wasting disease affecting your Cory's you want to treat with Fritz Expel p as for the salt I wouldn't go above one table spoon for 3 gallons with Cory's you could do a course of kanaplex in food feed a small amount twice a day for 7 days store any leftover medicated food in the fridge if the salt doesn't help your molly @Mitch Norton
  16. Salt at that level won't harm your loach @Gabs19
  17. Have you seen any aggression between the two honey gourami any bullying if not it could be bacterial in that case I would do a course of kanaplex in food feed a small amount twice a day for 7 days store any leftover medicated food in the fridge
  18. I would start feeding him hikari Betta bio gold just a couple of pellets twice a day usually when fish are lethargic it's usually because there putting all there energy into fighting an illness or they are weak thought not eating with Indian almond leaves you need to add one leaf per gallon to get a beneficial effect what I would do is another course of kanaplex in food as fish typically only adsorb 20% of antibiotic medication when it's add to the water column it's a lot more effective in food as he's still eating feed a small amount twice a day for 7 days store any leftover medicated food in the fridge add a small amount of aquarium salt 1 table spoon for 10 gallons the salt will help with Gill function and add essential electrolytes at that level it won't harm your plants I wouldn't do salt baths they will just stress him out in his weaken state
  19. Dosing maracyn will help get rid of cyanobacteria you want to find the under laying cause of the out break
  20. Could be fat or full of eggs it difficult to tell
  21. How long have you had the loach before they started dieing are they eating ok and have you added anything new to the tank resently what symptoms are you seeing
  22. You don't redose the medication for a week so it's ok to water changes if you getting an ammonia spike
  23. I have Malaysian tumpet snails in of all my tanks I have never had them eat my plants they are good at keep the substrate clean as they borrow they also stop sand from getting compacted
  24. You could use a very high levels of salt 5 table spoon for 1 gallon let it sit for a week empty them rise well I like to use a 3% hydrogen peroxide solution for disinfecting tanks
