    turn the tank around. the chip becomes the back, and you get no chips for the front. out of sight, out of mind.

    6-7 hours a day light to start with, and i would fertilize day 1. since you have no fish, there's no fish poop to provide nutrients for the plants.

    bristlenose arent too complicated to breed. take 1 male, and 1 female adult britslenose, and give them a cave to hide in and pretty soon you have mini bristlenose.

    i typically wait until they get a little size on them, so the roots are an inch or longer (it really doesnt take too long). then pick them off gently. sometimes you can wedge them in place where you want them, but a drop of super glue gel where you want them, press the roots into the glue, and stick the object back in the tank.

    getting cold might stunt their growth for a while. frozen on the other hand will outright kill most plants.

    crushed coral is great, can also add in a wondershell to get minerals in the water. guppy's can take a spritz of salt in their water too.

    im not a fishless cycle person, but the tank is eating the ammonia you feed it, and its growing algae, its viable . quit putting ammonia in it, and start adding fish.

    the eat them if they arent getting enough other food. if they get enough food, they tend to not eat plants.

    amazing, but sometimes a little cold snap can trigger breeding behavior.

    you can do it in any order you want. if you have the plants, as long as you keep them in water, its no big deal.
