  1. 🟥🟡 please try to explain better what you are asking. paddle wheel, glass... no information.
  2. from last november as in 2021, id be using it. even from 2020.
  3. if interested in breeding the guppy's, id probably put them and the cory's in the 29 for starters with the tetras elsewhere. after the first set or two of fry, you could put the tetras in the 29 with the others, as with a few sets of fry, it wont be long until you have a ton of them. then you can sort out fry into the smaller tanks.
  4. amano shrimp are a great beginner shrimp. they are fairly hardy as shrimp go.
  5. there is little doubt, most fish go nuts for bbs.
  6. the above 2 are quite correct, the liquid co2 is not the same as a gas system.
  7. stuff em in deeper, or poke a hole in them. if the gel cap itself comes up, just fish it out. it wont hurt anything, but is kinda ugly looking.
  8. id suggest you hit up the co-op's video's and find the one on hot rodding your hang on back filter. replacing filter cartridges will get expensive, and the carbon the put in them isnt a neccessity. try some porus filter sponge in the filter instead of a cartridge. carbon is great, but it has its time and place.
  9. so many varieties with guppy's, its all been done before. that is however an odd combo yellow with purple tail. kinda neat.
  10. when i do water changes, you always end up with runs down the outside of the tank, and damp towels. i use the damp towel to wipe down the glass, and if need go over it again with a dry one. ive never found the need for any actual glass cleaner on a fish tank.
  11. that would be about as small as id consider for one.
  12. i cant give you an exact number, but that stand will likely support at least double the weight of that tank.
  13. going to have to try that. nice hack.
  14. if its kept at a temperature you are comfortable in, the bacteria will survive a few hours.
  15. they are very cool looking fish, especially the males. i had them years ago, someday will again.
  16. alligator gar. ive kept florida spotted, and long nose gar many years ago. would need an olympic size swimming pool for the big boys though. i did not hand feed mine, though they were very gentle when handled.
  17. you sure could place it in a mesh baggie in the tank.
  18. i probably cant, even if i could see a picture.🤪
  19. hard to say what exactly it could be, but damp environments can grow lots of nasty stuff. when storing fish tank items, always make sure they are dried out before sealing them up in a container or baggie.
