i sort of agree, i have a 37 and it is bordering on too tall. the 29 is fairly close to ideal. its tall enough to have more room in it, yet not so tall you are in it up to your armpits during maintenance.
smell is the first instant clue. if you really cant tell, stick it in a separate bucket of water. every now and then it seems they just want to take a day or two vacation.
while the fish wont be bothered by the variety(for the most part, some are picky eaters) the real issue is after 3, 4, or 5 different foods, it starts to become hard to manage.
tank holds water, so if you like the stand, its probably worth 150. filters are fine, and as for the light, you can always upgrade. the tank, stand, and lids are probably worth the 150 in most places.
well with tanks, sometime you have to deal with ABC (always being crooked). you are dealing with the stand, and the floor, so when you start out level, once you add water it can and more than likely will move some. try to level as close as you can, but perfection is not required. you for sure want the tank to sit on a flat surface though.
ha, this guy doesnt do submarines. ive been on 2, both tied to the pier. wont catch me underwater on one of them. it is true that a lot of the old boats were named for fish.
electric cattle prod like game&fish use to count fish in a lake😈. just kidding. if you cant get them using 1 net, use 2. use one to guide them into the other net.
