  1. Well mine became the property of my Grandson…. And he is only 3 1/2, it’s anyone’s guess where they are. Lol.
  2. For a small aquarium (under 75gallons) I think there are a lot of decent manufacturers. I think it comes down to availability and your own preferences and cost. I have a 125 gallon aquarium I purchased used in 2001 made by Prefecto - I think now is Marineland. And for our 16th wedding anniversary my wife purchased me a complete 90 gallon aquarium new. Also a perfecto aquarium. Just for the record this April we celebrated 35 years. I have heard good things about Seapora aquarium. Good Luck with your decision
  3. Thanks for sharing. Look really nice. Can I ask what type/manufacturer hang on back filter is that?
  4. Oh, I thought Cory mentioned in a video that when the supply of stickers was gone they would not be sending them anymore.
  5. I know the Co Op YouTube channel has several videos on this…. I guess it comes down to your likes…. But I will tell you a while back I kept and spawned a little fish you might like. Betta rutilans – the Dwarf Fighter check them out… Good Luck
  6. I got my Co Op order today and no sticker. The end of an ERA. You know I really didn’t think much about while getting them. And then I opened my box and no sticker. Well all good thing must come to an end I guess. Lol
  7. I’m so glad you went. And had a great time. And now you have a local place-source of information. That’s great
  8. My local Petsmart has been carrying shrimp for years. I don’t know if that is good or bad. I don’t buy aquatic animals from them. i only walk past in hopes their selection will improve. I only visit Petsmart when the dogs might need something
  9. I agree with Odd Duck.
  10. I have found Burnish Aires, Glowlight and Black skirt to be easy to spawn. Good Luck
  11. I treat all tetra eggs as light sensitive. I’m not sure if they all are, but there is no harm in treating all that way… Good Luck
  12. Anytime I have kept them they kinda kept their population under control. Feeding and water changes along with temperature. Have fun with them. You can always remove some and sell on here or to others in the hobby. Great little fish… Great setup BTW Good Luck
  13. Well I would make sure food gets back to him. Or her. Target feed, maybe try some frozen food if you have some. Or ask the pet store what they are feeding. Good Luck
  14. All of mine come to front when walk up on the tank. I want to say they love me…. But I think it’s the food. Lol.
  15. Well they can be a social fish and love the company of others. what is normal? A solitary fish may take longer to settle in, but no not really normal. What is the temperature? Any other stress factors going on? What about when the lights are off and just room lights are on? I have seen pet shops that don’t use lights and sometimes those fish take longer to get accustomed to the lights. Does it come out to eat?
  16. I have kept saltwater aquariums years ago. I can not think of anything that would survive in both environments that would cause this. With that being said, some prior medications have been known to linger on. I bet it’s something simple. Did you maybe not clean under the plastic rim? Maybe caused the cycle to start over? Prior to changing over the tank possible you had contaminants on your hands? Soap? Good Luck
  17. Looks like (Gyrinocheilus aymonieri) or the Chinese algae eater. As for the silver dollar, it might be the algae eater. I have seen them as well as other fish get a taste for the slime coat of other fish. Good luck
  18. How long do you usually leave new arrivals in there? Do you treat with medications while in the QT tank? If you add them, I would start the QT over for the fish already in there. Good Luck
  19. Don’t worry, you are doing fine. Take your time and let the tank settle in. Doing research and asking questions is always the best option. I have seen some amazing looking low light planted tanks just using room lights and sunlight. Did the tank come with a light/lid? If so it should work just fine. If not you should be able to find some inexpensive options on the internet. Also, may I suggest a background? If even some construction paper from a craft store. Looking great….
  20. Oh and a side note- their fry, amazing looking. when I started spawning white clouds I was already spawning neon tetras. If I didn’t know better I would have thought I mixed up the spawning mops. The fry when they first developed color are incredible.
  21. Young males . They will display just because. Reflection, another male or female. With correct water, temperature and food supply (and BTW, for white clouds- this isn’t hard) they are always ready to spawn. So regardless of what they see - they have that - Hey look at me Attitude. And that also makes them great fish. Always wanting to display and really not much aggression. Good Luck
  22. In my experience two things 01. water laying the leaves, 02. or way to close to a hot light source. Ok maybe 3 things and I doubt this happened. A extreme drop in air temperature. I have noticed when keeping outside here in north eastern USA a cold night will kill them. Good Luck
  23. It is so hard to pick. Love them both. Amazing.
