  1. Here is an update. The water lettuce is roughly 2 inches, for scale.
  2. You probably already knew this but there will be algae covered phases in your tank
  3. My pygmy cories are more like guinea pigs they are super skittish and will run away unless you approach very slowly. When they are not cramming them selves under drift wood they have some really interesting behavior.
  4. @Jungle Fan The original was not technically called titanic I, but the next boat would be the second, thus titanic II.
  5. Here is a bit of an update. It has probably almost doubled in size since he was discovered.
  6. You can get the whole scoop on this thread (Planaria and Cyclops appear from thin water)
  7. I found a magic tadpole in a 3.5 I was cycling, no idea how it got there. After some research I think it's a Cuban tree frog. So I am about to start building his/her adult size home.
  8. That's going to be my next project after I set up my tree frog vivarium.
  9. If only there was an IV type device that live food could live in the bag and be slowly sucked into the tank.
  10. The only problem with an auto feeder is that it doesn't stimulate the fish's natural instincts as much as live food.
  11. Oh wow that's a lot less than I expected, I am officially on the market for auto feeders.
  12. Aren't those kinda pricey? To clarify I am 13 and on a very limited budget.
  13. @TankseekerI do to but I am always so busy that I don't always have time to feed all of my pets.
  14. Oh, ok. I will just have to find another way to be lazy, I mean efficient lol
  15. @TankseekerI am looking for something to live in the tank with the fish
  16. There are 2male guppies, 6 pygmy cories, and 7 ember tetra.
  17. I recently fed my 10 gallon community tank some mosquito larvae, and the fish went crazy. Since then I have been wondering if there is a live food that can live in the same tank and be eaten when the fish are hungry.
  18. May I inquire what plants you are growing that requires an algae mat?
  19. I found the Co-op in July of last year, cause KG tropicals recommended them as an excellent resource for community tanks.
  20. Any name suggestions? I'm thinking Castro, but open to other ideas.
  21. Based on some research I think it's a Cuban tree frog, which is actually invasive in my area. So it looks like I have a tree frog now.
  22. @James Black I would stop randomly in the forest and say "Oh my goodness, look at the size of that fittonia!"
