  1. I think you could be dealing with a parasitic infection what I would do is feed Expel p in food for 7 days feeding a small amount twice a day then follow up with a course of general cure or paracleanse then repeat the Expel p in two weeks then follow up with another course of paracleanse or general cure that will treat most types of commonly encountered parasites
  2. I usually leave vegetable in for 24hr with no problems the dried food and frozen don't last long enough to effect water quality if your routinely over feeding that will effect your water quality
  3. Some fish can survive for a long time before succumbing to wasting disease it's also possible that are being bullied and gradually losing weight over a period of time that would explain the color loss as well caused by stress what I would recommend is quarantine the sick fish feed him three times a day for a week if he starts to put on weight it was more than likely bulling causing the weight loss after a week your still seeing not improvement then I would do a course of flubendazole treat every other day for three days then repeat in the treatment in two weeks @nerdyaquarist

  5. If you other tanks are ok i think you could rule out contamination of your well water with the symptoms your fish have I would recommend treating with a broad spectrum antibiotic treatment such as kanaplex and add some aquarium salt 1 table for 3 gallons that will help reduce any possible fluid buildup the eye you could also add some Indian almond leaves as they have antibacterial and antifungal properties @MAC

  7. Any rapid breathing hanging near the surface listlessness noticeable sunken belly spitting food out flashing and how long from them developing symptoms to it being fatal @nerdyaquarist
  8. With the symptoms you could be dealing with wasting disease what I would do if a course of Expel p active ingredient is levamisole in food feeding a small amount twice a day for 7 days repeat the medicated food in two weeks in-between treatments with Expel p I would do a course of paracleanse that will cover against most types of internal parasites

  10. The fact there's no bloating is odd with the pineconing you could be dealing with a bacteria infection that would explain the rapid deterioration what I would do is add some aquarium salt 1 table for 3 gallons and if he's Still eating do a course of kanaplex in food feeding a small amount twice a day for 7 days @Minanora
  11. CAE are none to be territorial when they get bigger you would be better putting him in a tank with cichlids or other fish that can hold there own I wouldn't add any more bottom dewelling fish it will more than likely cause more territorial disputes unless your getting a larger tank

  14. It's more than likely an injury or temperature as you mentioned causing the cloudy eye in your puffer if you haven't had any ammonia or nitrite spikes if the white patches aren't getting any worse after the full course of treatment adding salt and monitor them very closely for the next two weeks if you notice the them start to get worse then I would follow up with another course of kanaplex and Jungle fungus clear fizz tab's @Mahi27

  19. What I would do is quarantine him if you can and add an extra air stone and add some aquarium salt 1 table for 3 gallons that will aid Gill function and add essential electrolytes to give him more energy it more than likely he has been attacked by one of your other cichlids @FrezhFinz
