  1. Welcome to the forum! I know goldfish like sand so they can sift through it. You might want to check out the easy planters so you can add some plants.
  2. @TheBlueBeetle yeah I would probably set up a different aquarium for the apistos or get rid of some of the other fish before adding them.
  3. I have moved a 55 with 3 in of gravel and had no issues. I think you should be fine.
  4. I would suggest a honey gourami. They have nice but still natural looking coloration and are very peaceful.
  5. I believe they are the same product and thus there should be no difference. Someone please correct me if I am wrong.
  6. It sounds like the aquarium was probably overstocked for a newly cycled tank. I would suggest that next time you add fewer fish and not all at the same time.
  7. I think that might be pushing it with the rams, kribs, apistos, and angels. I’m not saying it couldn’t work but I think you’d be asking for trouble with that many different species of cichlids.
  8. I agree with @Aqua junky you should be fine.
  9. I would suggest some frozen food if some sort. You can buy it at almost any pet store and it will keep for a pretty long time in the freezer. You could also buy black worms from an aquarium store or online.
  10. I agree with @bettta999 I think a black background would look great on that aquarium. You can buy them precut at most pet stores and tape them to the back of the aquarium.
  11. Those look great! I would go find some for my aquariums but everything is currently under 8 in of snow.
  12. I agree with @Beardedbillygoat1975 that doesn’t look like a sterbai
  13. I always use them in my 10 gal shrimp and snail tank and it works well. I put one small one in and then wait until it completely dissolves before adding another one.
  14. I like guppies or pea puffers and my favorite invert has to be cherry shrimp.
  15. Welcome to the forum @castiel I’m glad you decided to get back into the hobby!
  16. I would suggest a school of brigittae rasboras and some pygmy corydoras. I also would echo what others have said in regards to plants.
  17. I would go with crypt wendtii bronze a variety of swords and some anubias. The floaters you mentioned would also add a nice touch.
  18. I completely agree with @813aquatics it looks great and I think they would love it. If you want to breed them you might need to buy a dedicated pleco cave.
  19. Great pictures! I agree with @xXInkedPhoenixX Those gold scales are super coo!
  20. I have a 20L that doesn't have a top and has a bunch of guppies and have never had any issues. I think you should be good.
  21. I think that would probably work. It would be worth trying at least.
  22. They come in many different color variants including red, albino, chocolate, green dragon, white, and mixes of those colors. They grow 4-5 inches and love green beans!
