Alesha
Just now, Streetwise Surprise! I raised a Dragonfly in my Betta tank. {shuuuuuuudder}😧😖🥺(Not really...I've always loved dragonflies. But since I've met their larvae face-to-face, they give me the heebie-jeebies.😏🙄😬)
Alexa
I love that profile shot of the mossy wood curving out of the water. The perspective totally changes the feel of the tank in my opinion 😊
Streetwise
I seem to avoid stem plants on short tanks. Edited December 4, 2020 by Streetwise
Streetwise
Thanks @Alexa! I changed up the filtration on my 2.5 gallon window tanks with Co-Op sponge filters. I removed the MF10 from each, plus the center piece of foam, rotated the side pieces, and jammed a small sponge in the center gap. The foam needs to be there to support the glass divider, which holds the light, and the shrimp can swim past the glass. I really enjoy trying to fit aquarium technology into tiny tanks. I tested without the uplift tube, but there was too much splashing. I probably don't even need a filter, but the shrimp love it. Someone needs to make a meme about shrimp and foam. Streetwise
I removed the Mopani Wood from my oldest tank, which I will move to my folks' tank. I put in three pieces of Spider Wood from my other tanks. Edited December 10, 2020 by Streetwise

Streetwise
This is turning into an Anubias+ tank. I removed a light, which is for a future 15 gallon.

Streetwise
I added a new piece of Mopani wood, and fed some more brine shrimp. I made a big mess, but it should clear up. I will add more wood when I move the previous piece to my parents' tank. This is the one tank where I don't feel bad about making changes. Streetwise
I removed the new tall piece of wood, and brought back the previous piece, but not in the same way. Now the tank looks cozy. Edited December 17, 2020 by Streetwise

Streetwise
I pulled one plant from my 7.5, which was a string of ten plants. I planted most of them in my Askoll 20.

Streetwise
I like to have my tech organized. I didn't have plans to use the little airline notches, but then I fell in love with sponge filters.
