KentFishFanUK
So on one of @Irene's videos on YouTube, specifically "5 Things I Wish I Knew Before Growing Rooted Aquarium Plants" there's a little fish that's pretty much centre screen around the 0:50 mark, and I wondered what it is? It's so cute, not even sure if maybe it's a juvenile of something I would recognise or something completely new to me! Sorry about the awful blurry picture, it's taken on my phone of the screen on my tablet as I couldn't figure out an easy way to get a good pic of it. Any help appreciated!

Also it's hard to tell in my rubbish photo but the bottom half of its eye is blue. It has some orange on its caudal fin and I think some blue on the other fins. Maybe some sort of pseudomugil? Taco Playz
Can you take a screen shot? Looks like some sort of tetra definetly.
mountaintoppufferkeeper
Id guess the owner may chime in eventually but happy to guess as well. My vote is also one of the deeper bodied tetras and similar to the xray tetra. Based of the fin colors of those young fish I'd say they could also be rosy tetra or a candy cane tetra. KentFishFanUK
Ok so these are the best screenshots I can get from it! I would link the video but I don't know how? None of my screenshots are good or do the little thing justice! Especially the blue eye, red and blue on its find etc. Any more ideas?
Dkshadowwolf
I will add my 2 cents. It looks like it could be a juvenile candy cane tetra/rosy tetra.( Hyphessobrycon Rosaceus) or Hyphessobrycon Spc. 1

Patrick_G
I’m pretty sure it’s a Tetra because I see a little adipose. I would say Silver Tip Tetra Edited August 4, 2021 by Patrick_G

I would say White Tip Tetra The only thing throwing me off that you can't see that well in the photos but you can in the video is a bright blue eye (or at least the bottom half of the eye) but when I Google photos of the suggestions so far they don't seem to have it. Unless they have that as juveniles and then lose it?
Patrick_G
I meant Silver Tip Tetra. I edited the post above
Streetwise
@KentFishFanUK, those photos are focused on the plants in the background. Try stepping back just a foot or so.

I tried like 50 times and thats the best I got!

FrozenFins
@KentFishFanUK Can you link the video down below, and possibly include a time stamp? This may make it easier to see in video.
