  1. Hope to see it gone in the next week after I do another water change.
  2. Not at the time this began. It's still there even after a water change but more minimal
  3. The wisteria is in the background, sprite is the one up front. Did the store mislabel them? I'd be surprised as it is a well known spot but maybe the person picked the wrong one
  4. The one closest to the glass was labeled sprite when I bought it. The leaves seem too wide to be wisteria?
  5. I take it the node is the area where the leaves grow out?
  6. What's the proper way to trim them? Mine is out of control and is even bending so I wonder if that's from the current or it being too long?
  7. It's very light but you can see it. Even look at the one frogbit, it has a white coating on the part that's exposed?
  8. Complete opposite actually, my filter is overpowered for the tank I have so I had to turn down the flow but it's still moving. I'll take one when I get home
  9. Last Tuesday I received my order of fish & then the day after I received Frogbit and now there's a white film on the surface. My guess is it's from the Frogbit, if so what would it be?
  10. I just got 3 blue ram's & they are cool lil fishes.
  11. I doubt I'll be putting it back on. I liked it more when I had piranhas but not so much with this setup
  12. Eventually I will be getting a spray bar but I was able to turn down the flow. It's been noticeable so we will see how it goes now
  13. I was never really sold on the black background I had added last week so I just removed it & almost immediately some of the fish started exploring the back glass which basically no fish has yet since getting them Tuesday. It's a 27g cube so I feel like this is a better move so they explore the rest of the tank
  14. I have black rasboras and so far no issue. They've been attacking the food
  15. How great is this light!? I have it myself. Best light for the value It has 5 brightness settings though not 4.
  16. Looks a lot more fitting too. Would look great with the rest of the parts
  17. I just realized the on/off valve is actually the flow control valve 🙈. I did a search and came across some articles talking about it, I feel like an idiot lol. I will set it halfway when I get home and see how it goes. I might still get the sponge filter though Thanks!
  18. I knew it. Unfortunately there's no adjustment. The filter came with the tank and I believe the previous owner had a saltwater setup which explains the high output. I know piranha's benefit the most with a high output but this is my first community tank so I did suspect 11x was too much from the beginning I have been thinking about adding a sponge filter to the inlet though. Not sure what I can do with the outlet, maybe add some holes? Thanks
  19. I'm not sure why the image uploads upside down.
  20. I have a good amount of plants/decor but it doesn't seem like it has an affect on the current imo. I think the issue is the square design so there's no real dead spot. With a rectangle footprint I feel like dead spots are easily attained. The fish don't seem bothered but it does look like they're constantly swimming
  21. Cool. thanks. Just wasn't sure as this is my first time having them I am concerned with the current though, not sure if they like it or if they're actually struggling. The filtration turnover rate is 11x
  22. I bought one of the value packs from liveaquaria.com and it came with 3 cory's. It's been a short time but they're acting pretty wild by swimming fast up & down on the front glass. All the one's I've seen in the stores just chill out at the bottom. I do feel like the current is too much in my tank as I have a Fluval 306 in a 27g cube tank so I wonder if that's the issue?
  23. I've learned myself on here to just use them for the plants that actually need them. I wasted a couple tabs on the wisteria's since they're not root grown
