Thank you! yes it is! I was also Fresh on piranha-fury.com so I figured to keep it going I have a 27g cube that I recently bought locally off ebay which I'm going to setup as a community tank with live plants. It's been about 10 years since my last tank but aquariums have been in my family for years so I'm familiar with them. I've mostly had piranha tanks (3x) so this is a new corner for me

I assumed I had to get some time of fertilizer going before getting them? Just like cycling the water before getting fish This is my first tank in about 10 years and first time getting live plants also so I'm open to any tips and advice. Thanks

I'm glad I came across this thread as I'm about to use root tabs for the first time myself. I easily have 2+ inches of sand as I used 40lbs for 27g so I wonder if they will float through that?

My tank has been up for almost a couple weeks now so I plan on buying plants soon but unsure if I should add the tabs in now or with the plants? I also bought Easy Green which I already put in.
