  1. Just got home and noticed a whole bunch of bubbles.
  2. Well I have nothing in regards to breeding lol I literally have no clue what to do now. What exactly do I need?
  3. Appreciate it! I'm getting my water tested tomorrow so I'll go from there. I knew it wouldn't be easy having this much in a 27g
  4. I just made a post in the breeding section with an image of it check it out. I am so amazed yet clueless right now
  5. Well I ust noticed this and I have no idea what to do next.
  6. Thanks! I keep moving the plants around since they're growing fast
  7. I don't understand why they keep uploading upside down.
  8. It's believable as everything was all good until about day #8. 2 sprites, 1 wisteria & frogbit at the moment. Getting some swords and some kind of Anubias next. The usual dechlorinater and I bought some feeders to get going. I use to do that for my piranha tanks I noticed the bag for the gourami was kinda flat so I assume it had lost air during the trip. I feel like I have some decent spots for each species to go back to but I'll take a picture later Yup exactly that size. I had emailed them prior to making the purchase and they advised that the value packs were made specifically for each tank size. They sent me the glowlights, black rasboras, green cory's and the candy cane tetras Yes 2 sprites, 1 wisteria and some frogbit. Yea I was pissed as that was going to be the showpiece even though I had 3 blue rams. I currently do not have a heater as my apt stays warm where the tank is setup since it faces East, water temp so far has ranged from 78-81 I do not recall which one I had used but I ran out so time to buy more
  9. I have yet to get a test kit so I bring it to my LFS which I'll be doing this week. The tank was running for 4-5 weeks before I added the fish. I added them over the course of an hour or so
  10. I've lost 4 fish since getting them 2 weeks ago. A blue dwarf gourami came DOA then one of the cory cats passed then I realized I was missing a rasbora and found it on the floor behind the tank last week and just lost one blue ram yesterday. This one looked like it had a nip on the fin so I wonder if something happened with the other 2 I had went with one of the value packs from liveaquaria.com which was 31 fish (they said it was good for 20-26g) but I'm starting to think it's too much for my 27g cube.
  11. I have 6 candy cane tetra's, 6 glow light tetras & 8 black rasbora's in a 27g. 2 weeks in they have gotten along pretty good, haven't seen any type of aggression between them
  12. Now one of the rasboras went missing and I just found it behind the tank on the floor. I do run no top which I know is risky
  13. Thanks for all the replies. It's wild to see how square tanks easily produce current. I'm really having an issue trying to get the right one going I wonder if I should even still get a spray bar.
  14. I figured I would see most responses as opposite. This is my first & probably only square tank so I'm still trying to get the current right. It just doesn't take much to have too much current in it. I had to remove the powerhead because of it
  15. For those with canisters are you using same side or opposite placement? I was opposite but I just moved them to the same side to see what will happen/change. I have a 27g cube (20x18x20) so it doesn't take much for the current to get going. I did notice there was debris on the bottom where the outlet was, intrigued to see if it now forces it into the inlet directly since it'll be right there
  16. I'm in northeastern NJ so they're as common as a supermarket lol. I can count about 5 within 10 miles
  17. The only issue with that is I have no top so that could splash all over by being half out. I did adjust it this morning by removing the suction cup (to the outlet not the bracket) so it's able to point more up & now there's a small wave forming, that seemed to remove the film more
  18. Well I lost a cory cat last night. I have no choice but to buy a kit asap
  19. Interesting. I will look into that Yea it's a Fluval 306. I plan on getting a spray bar soon but I have the outlet somewhat pointed up. Will be easier to do with the spray bar
  20. Well it never had it before the fish/frogbit were added last week. I had an air stone but the pump is too big for the tank size so I had to remove it, the current was too much. It's a 27g cube so doesn't take much to get the current strong
  21. Hygger full spectrum. I've yet to buy a test kit so I'm unsure and I forgot what the last reading was
  22. Mine have no issue growing but are really showing brown leaves. It's been hard to maintain a mostly green look
  23. That's pretty wild as I have a very similar setup/daily routine & never experienced any type of greenness. I use Easy green every Sunday and have a lot of light
  24. Damn so I have 2 sprite's and 1 wisteria instead of vise versa which also means I've been adding root tabs to the wrong one lol. Kinda funny I just did a Google search on both and I can't believe I never confirmed this earlier. It's been about 5 weeks
  25. Well ain't that a female dog. They definitely look/grow different as well so now I'm even more confused lol. So what you're all saying is I have 3 wisteria's with 1 looking different because it was originally grown underwater? Here's another angle
