  1. Yeah my white clouds are usually always asleep by the time I try to feed, so I don’t have that problem, but yes he just puts in reverse and says nope, not right now lol. And here is the table where my 10g will be today, I am putting the 10 here, and putting my 20 on the table my 10 is currently on.
  2. Welcome to the forum @PGH Jeremy! Nice tank! Love the design of the drawer’s!!!( Is that how you spell it? 😂)
  3. The series of narnia, and I am in the middle of the LOTR series as well.
  4. When my WCMMs came and introduced my new nerite to their tank, they are so personal and kind, 3 of them came and said hi, i love these guys, the best fish!
  5. YESSSSSSSS, Snorlax is the dude, I like him too. Here is how my top 5 favorite Pokémon line up. 1. Gengar. 2. Snorlax. 3. Crustle. 4. Blastois (don’t know if that is how you spell it 😉) 5. Charizard. All awesome Pokémon!!!!!
  6. Cool! Yes I love drawing all the Pokémon, my fav to draw is gengar. The best Pokémon btw 😁 Yes! Baseball is the #1 sport. I love collecting cards as well.
  7. I was thinking a snail crew. I have one, in my 10, but will add him most likely, and get possibly one more. Yes. I have one issue, he doesn’t eat the algae (mini) wafers. Should I leave it in tank all night? They sink. But when does show up he is almost always on the glass. Would he smell it?? Idk anything about snails 🤷‍♂️
  8. Putting it near the natural sunlight can help, I stand by the window, and get a bright desk light, then put it as close as my light, then compare. Same, when my nitrate was 5 my plants was struggling, but when the nitrates were 20, my Pearl weed and micro sword started thriving, but my pearlweed doesn’t care if it’s 0 or 60, it still is thriving!
  9. Thank you! I know, it will be quit an experiment, my first 20!!!
  10. As I have mentioned, let us know how it turns out!!!!
  11. Should be, with most you can cut to your own desired shape, to fit your filter. I shoved a media bag much thicker then that gap with crushed coral. It will work, just check the width of the one you want.
  12. No, you would put it (if room) behind the cartridge for around a week or 2, then ditch the old one. No bacteria lost. You bear me to it, and took the words out of my mouth 😂
  13. Idk if he means sponge as in cartridge, this is a sponge cartridge. Something like this https://www.amazon.com/ALEGI-Aquarium-Sponge-Cartridge-Inserts/dp/B0BWQGN7WS/ref=sr_1_3?crid=7KGYPUR1XN0M&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.K4I_RXyOpzNw3wh8Fm_x7vbV6gDLG1Q0ZJu5ZUhioW2l-7ASqEHA4V84preQTyzkkzy4G7w8Z9hwqgPfqKiI4w-WOGWPvYBihDWCEXZ1n9IMsvfkECaB-XvPV7VRWcT3HR7xh1JbhOEfiifQr6PEGJKYcwfl0p4yt2Jbg9g0GyhG5Hdmwika-8FwrQU7bEVQp020jptW3173dKjyIJksgBdftZp5bmw1F2sh5DpruSPxpgmEUcVfy7pTtOOhiN7Tt7xavxwrC_vNdGhJVrEl48WIFfWanqjyy5v0VxmlmoM.s_Jrdw4Wd_yo-XZ0UY1TRKskVTZHZhP8D6oHEnWKfWE&dib_tag=se&keywords=Sponge+fish+tank+cartridge&qid=1717109547&sprefix=sponge+fish+tank+catrfihe%2Caps%2C256&sr=8-3 Or sponge filter. https://www.aquariumcoop.com/collections/filtration/products/aquarium-co-op-coarse-sponge-filter I’m guessing 1 though @Mordecai13.
  14. Hopefully everything turns out well, I spent 300 bucks on the setup lol. Kinda brakes the bank 😉
  15. Oh ok that is more simple than I thought lol. Thanks.
  16. Pictures would help, @svachon9, I have the same problem with the API test kit.
  17. Sorry but I am not good with stuff like NTD. I know idk imo and other things, but what does NTD stand for? I am not very wordy 😉.
  18. Wow, I love the way that looks, send pictures if possible @aminowrimo! I am so curious on how this will turn out with your betta, u learn something new every day in fishkeeping!!
  19. Yes that was very helpful, thanks colu for helping here as I was clueless! Meds is not always the answer that is for sure.
  20. YESSSS! They are amazing, I love these things, so much personality, and to be fancy you can get gold ones or long fin
  21. Yes, to much light, melt. Too little, does not make a difference for this plant. I have never seen a plant that likes low light as much as Java fern. But medium light is fine as well. Yes forgot to mention if it’s above the gravel (the rhizome) then it will be fine. But on driftwood it thrives! It and Anubias love to be on a rock/driftwood/decor etc, so for best turn out, your Java fern should be gel glued to your desired piece of decor @winterweatherguy. When it starts thriving you will get mini ferns growing out of leaves. Like @CoryWithAKatana mentioned above you can get black spots (not sure of another way to describe) then you get more ferns!
  22. That sounds good. The plants should be fine too as well @aminowrimo. Just buying time and waiting for @Colu…….😁
  23. It’s ok, I enjoy it, reading is my favorite pastime, besides fish keeping lol
  24. Welcome to the forum @winterweatherguy! @Mmiller2001 or @Seattle_Aquarist are our plant experts I believe, they should help. Did I missread or do you not have any root tabs? For swords that can be very important. Looks like your java fern is in the substrate and if so that can cause rotting because it is a rhizome plant, it should not be buried. You can glue it to driftwood or decor but not in gravel. Black spots = lack of nutrients. Agree with @CoryWithAKatana
  25. Yes I know, he is very helpful tho, he helped me with my betta and almost saved his life, but the poor guy was too far gone 😢. He should read this before the end of the day. I have not read every bit of it either, but I am reading this now… @aminowrimo.
