Oh ....and did I mention...I added a live camera to my fish room so I can watch them when Im not there.....Nope no problem here!🤪

What camera did you go with and where did you get it? I've been wanting to add one for my 14 gallon! I have a fancy pleco who only likes to come out at night...so...I am not ashamed to ask this...does that live camera also have night vision? 😂🤪 Nooooo, I don't have a fishy obsession at allllllll....Seriously, though...what camera?

Hi I’m Cory, I have MTS. I started with a 5 gallon betta tank on my nightstand, within  a wk I had 36gallon community going in my living room. The. Within a month or two got 10 gallon on my dresser. Had two qt tubs going in living room, then added a 29gallon grow out tank next to 36g. And already have plans for pea puffer tank. Bc well my snails are taking over. I have guppies galore and my corycats are breeding like mad as of late so waiting to see what fry count I get from that.
some fun pic attached of my journey from April 2021 to now

In these tanks are: Japan blue guppies, purple mosaic guppies, albino corydoras, cherry shrimp, nerites “zebra&tigers” rams horns snails, and bladder snails. All planted. Platinum Betta,

my.  plans to get pea puffers in their own 20g octagon, hillstream loaches for 36 gallon. And more shrimp.

The affects of MTS are fast and of course furious. You’ll love the pea puffer their awesome.D73E25D9-C099-4105-A2AA-30EA1067DBA8.jpeg.928ed4394d371911323252a827c989fa.jpeg

My name is Sharon and I have MTS.

I only have tanks in 4 rooms, no bathrooms or closets but we’ve been in this house for 24 years, so closets are quietly busy already.  😆

My tanks range from 2 gallons to 100 gallons, but only 6 are over 10 gallons (soon to swap a 20 for a 12, though, so that will become 7).  Some look amazing, some not so amazing, but the bigger, display tanks look pretty good except the 46 which is currently plant holding, soon to become a planted, “sort of biotope” for fresh water angelfish.  I’m working my way through some of the bigger tanks on reboots since they used to be Jack Dempsey fry tanks (did I mention I ended up with over 1500 fry?).

I would have to clear appliances and other stuff off my catch-all kitchen counters in order to put a fish tank there (not that I haven’t thought about it).  I desperately need to go through and purge junk we don’t use/need but that would take work!  If I had enough ambition I would shift my bookshelves into the back bedroom and shift my tank stack into the “office”.  What?  It has a desk, it just happens to have 2 fish tanks on the desk.  Then I’d have a proper fish room.  If I cleared out more junk from the office I could even move the “Low Row” in there.  Then I’d REALLY have a proper fish room (sans sink or drain).

Wait, wasn’t I supposed to be saying how I’m going to try to resolve my MTS?  Mumbles to self while wandering absentmindedly between tanks . . . . . .

HOOOOOOLLLLLLLDDDDDD UP nobody said annnnnything about resolving, fixing, curing, or even helping our loved ones! It’s all about how we can enable each other. None of the other stuff matters. Just needed a title for the thread so if our loved ones asked it would sound good.

So far my mom loves the tanks. Bc her evil cat eats all her plants. So this way they are sealed planted areas in the home 😁 and she likes the idea of pea puffers. I’m bringing her to dark side slowly but Shirley 😂😂😂 my dad thinks it’s all dumb I think but to each their own my son loves it all. He’s learning to count Thanks to loads of guppy fry and snails. He’s 4 and already remembers certain names of things in the community tank. Proud mamma moment. The water noises are relaxing since we all work our tails off most of the time.

3 generations with MTS, so now there’s proof it’s also genetic.

joking aside that is great something to share with your mom and your son👍

Now that you mention it, a 65 deep would look fantastic on my 14" deep "appliance wall".

Some days I have a few extra hours and I think “you know I could easily handle 3-8 more tanks” I have open counter space, enough room on that wall, or that dresser top. Then on the other 363 days of the year I’m glad my wife keeps me in check.

Hmmm the kitchen is my domain 😈but hubby would 🤯
