that much free samples...

Wow, i am really considering getting some food for my snails from them when i run out of crab cuisine, which i will soon.

Yep, click around on their website and you'll see the items with $0 price that are available to try.  Do you have gravel?  I'd suggest a feeding dish with these foods (like a terra cotta saucer).

What is a lazy pellet?

Crayfish empire sells it on EBay. @TeeJay contacted them and I believe they said that was a special blend they make for a specific customer request higher in amino acids I think???? They sell the extra on eBay. @TeeJaydid I explain that right?

I can just imagine how much fun the corydoras would have in this pile of food!

Reminds me of minions or something 🙂 .  Just wanted to mention it if it helps in any way at all....

The plant weights you should be able to roll them to try to hide the sharper edge as best you can.  I had to do this to wrap it around a plant and then a branch.  If you need to cut em I've seen (or heard from you as well I think!) about just cutting them and going that route also.

The new food looks really good, healthy, and seems to do well for feeding shrimp / snails.  Awesome recommendation and find!

They come out like this. This one is a Snello, but you get the idea. We play a $1 gift game at Christmas and my cousin had thrown these in the pile and I picked em. Little did she know they’d be great for making snail food!

That moment when you think it’s fine to put one zucchini and tell yourself, eh, they’ll just graze on & off throughout the day.

Did you count 5? There are 6.

Needless to say, more zucchini is cooking.

Meanwhile no shrimps complained when I cooked this one too much, pretended I didn’t, and just put a plant weight around the mush. Look at the massive female. She’s like the T Rex of the shrimp tank. She’s fanning as well.

A food fight broke out over the crab cuisine so I added some more bacter ae and everyone calmed down and resumed turning sand. I had just finished a water change, and this is the customary time for me to add the bacter ae anyway.

There were 2 I culled there. I believe this is the one that I have NEVER seen since that day!

Woot woot!!!  I still don't know how you have so much variation in your genepool, but it's fun to see the differences. You just need a lot of sorting bins. 😂

Hehe. I don’t know! Tidbits?

I kind of missed the shot but Hampshire was just helping polish off the zucchini!

So both Nibbles and Hampshire like the rind.

I wish Nibbles would make more Nibbleses. S/he is so cute!

If you ever figure out exactly what Nibbles is you can get them a significant other. Some things just can’t be done alone 🤣 (asexual species excluded)

@nabokovfan87 I know! It’s like Heinz 57 varieties! Just removed 6 more different ones. These are going to the 29 since the jar already has a dozen shrimp. Jar offspring will go to the 29 as well.

Doing a drip due to 4 degree difference.

I chickened out on putting these wilds in the 29 @nabokovfan87.  Into the jar they will go. I had all these thoughts running through my head about maintenance on the 29 taking 5x as long because I would have to check everything/all my sponges for shrimplets, and then not being able to vac the tank because I can’t see shrimplets, etc. All the problems I have in the shrimp only tank.

But there are 8 mysteries in the 29. And then would the tetras or Snoopy eat the shrimplets? Not necessarily a bad thing but then would that make me an accomplice to murder or something?! Sooo… idk what I’m doing lol. Now they are acclimating to the jar. Poor shrimps. What did I get myself into?
