  1. I started with 6 blue neocaridina shrimp. It then went over 30.
  2. Not aquarium related but saw this funny one on FB:
  3. Thank you for this. My experience: I have 2 males together RN, no females. I have no trouble with them. But other times it has been a disaster to keep 2 males together. My platies love veggies! Yep. Platies go CRAZY over food. I totally feel ya. I have dozens of platies RN. It's super fun bcause each of my platies have a different personality!
  4. Juvie swordtail or platy! She is beautiful either way!
  5. Whenever I am on vacation I miss the smells of the fish flakes. I know, I'm weird lol. (But I hate the smell of bloodworms. Ya'll know what I mean?)
  6. This is what I am going to call 2022: " The Year of Trying to be Better at Things."
  7. I have 2 10 gallon tanks, 1 is a fry and shrimp tank, the other is a nano community tank, I also have a 20 gallon with a betta and a glofish (I would like to turn it into a gourami tank), and I have 2 1 gallon hospital/QT tanks.
  8. I don't do co2. The website said that co2 is not required and I am dosing the tank with liquid ferts 2x a week.
  9. I guess lol. XD My platies always go crazy when they see me. It's not because they like me, It's because they are always hungry lol.
  10. My lights are high and I don't use co2. My GH is 300 and my KH is 180. I am dosing the tank with liquid ferts 2x a week (1.6 ML 2x a week). And root tabs 1x a month.
  11. Oh, I wish! That would be nice lol. And I could ask them if they like their aquariums, if they want food, etc. lol.
  12. 2 1/2 gallon for goldfish and tropical fish. Yeah, I don't think so.
  13. Hi all! I thought that I would put my photography journey here! Here are a few pics. More coming soon!
  14. Hi all! I wanted to share with you all my tank's progressions in the last couple of months. I have been buying a lot of live plants and have been moving around the plants. Let's start with my 20 gallon, 1st pic is before, 2nd pic is when I was playing with the scape, 3rd pic is now. I have to admit, it's not the most eye-catching planted tank, like some of your tanks, but It'll have to do for now. I'm excited for the plants to grow in more. Goal for this tank: I would like to turn it into a gourami tank, with some schooling fish of some sort. . Now to my 10 gallon fry/shrimp tank. It was a pretty crowded tank, fake-plant-wise, But I re-scaped it into a more natural-looking tank. 1st pic is before, 2nd pic is after. I also added a tiger lotus lily, which I absolutely love, is in the 3rd pic. Goals for this tank: I would like to turn it into a live-plant-only tank, but I'm just going to have to be patient. I am also planning to sell a lot of my shrimp into a smaller group because I have a lot in there. Now for the 10 gallon small community tank, nothing much has changed. I took some cuttings of plants and put them in pots into the tank and I really like how it looks. 1st pic is before I put the 2 pots of plants into the tank, 2nd pic is now. Goals for this tank: I'm not sure yet. I think I'll just keep it like this. If you all have made it this far, Thank you! Have a good day fish fans! FishPlanet
  15. So, I bought some Staurogyne Repens because I liked the idea of having a carpeting plant in my tank. The plants arrived ok. I put the plant in my tank and gave the plant some ferts and waited. A week or 2 later it was gone. It turned brown and melted. I only have one tiny piece that probably won't make it. What happened?
  16. I made the hole in a hideout too small for her to fit through but too big that she could get stuck.
