  1. You could do an African biotope aquarium congo tetra's gold congo tetra's African moon tetras jewel cichlids African butterfly cichlids
  2. It difficult as flashing can be caused by a number of things such as poor water quality stress parasites if you have had the fish a long time and haven't introduce anything into the tank in last couple of months you can probably rule out parasites your water parameters look good it's possible stress as you don't have a lot of plants or line of sight break's what I would do is add a floating plant like water lettuce that has long roots to provide some cover and vall or other quicker growing plant like elodea or hornwort your Amazon sword looks like it's being eaten by your pleco depending on the species if it's not getting enough vegetable matter in there diet it will eat your plants @Stroy15
  3. The coloration on the sides could be caused by the internal bloating I think it would be worth doing Epsom salt baths on the red crown tail as he's still having trouble swimming that coupled with the kanaplex you should hopefully start to see some improvement @xXInkedPhoenixX
  4. I think it's more than likely over weight if it had pineconing or constipation then I would say you need to treat what I would do is try fasting the tank for a couple of days to see if she loses some weight
  5. Looks like Epistylis the most effective treatment is kanaplex in food feeding a small amount twice a day for 7 days as epistylis spreads more quickly at higher temperatures and feeds off gram negative bacteria on the skin of your fish and I would add some aquarium salt 1 table for 3 gallons for one week if any of your remaining tetras are still showing symptoms
  6. Also with with other symptoms you describe he could also be developing hole in the head you can treat that with ESHA hexamita it also treats fungal and bacterial infection so it should help his damage tail fin regrow @Luis
  7. You keep treating with ick x for 3 days after the last visible spots and I would use the aquarium salt for 1 week @fishbish25

I wouldn't recommend using the medication together they could have a negative interaction @Neha
  9. I have used 1 table spoon for 3 gallons with my bristlenose pleco and not had a problem if your worried about your Cory's what you could do is start at 1 table for 5 gallons then gradually increase it over a couple of days
  10. They could be fat because there eating there fry or though constipation have you notice them pass anything recently
  11. As the spots are flat and not raised it's more than likely ich I would start treating with ick x and add some aquarium salt 1 table for 3 gallons as well as ich causes massive electrolyte loss and the salt will add back in essential electrolytes
  12. Just make sure to follow the instructions on the box and keep a close eye on your water parameters during treatment it can take three full course of treatment a week apart to treat wasting disease
  13. If he's developing a sunken belly it could be wasting disease you want to treat with levamisole or flubendazole ESHA ndx active ingredient is levamisole or NT labs fluke and wormer active ingredient is flubendazole are available in the UK they aren't shrimp or snail safe
  14. If he's trying to eat and Spitting out food that be a sign of wasting disease have you not rapid breathing hanging near the surface listlessness weight loss
  15. Any pineconing if not is it possible they are pregnant that would explain the weight gain and reduced bloating after they give birth

Sorry to hear that your still losing fish the internal damage caused by the parasites can be too severe in some case even with treatment you can still lose fish what I would do is follow up with a course of maracyn in food to cover against any possible secondary internal bacteria infection and follow up in a week with Expel p @Neha
  17. It could be trapped air causing it floating

What your describing is more than likely swim bladder caused by high levels of ammonia and nitrite they can damage fish's swim bladder what I would do is test daily and do daily 50% water changes add a double dose of prime to help detoxify any ammonia or nitrites till they constantly stay

  20. Have you got a picture of the sick fish it will help with a diagnosis what your ammonia level at
  21. More than likely just given brith and just a little fat when I kept platy's they were prone to over eating putting on the pound's
  22. Looking at the white patches it would be worth doing a course of kanaplex in food feeding a small amount twice a day for 7 days that won't harm your fry or scaleless fish if you done have live plants you can add some aquarium salt 1 table for 3 gallons as well
