  1. My old derpy dog❤️ she is an Australian Cattle Dog and will be 14 in a month.
  2. Started stocking my 15gal tank with these cuties! And added another crypt to the tank. So far they are not a fan of Xtreme Krill Flakes but love Co-op small fish/fry food.
  3. Why did you dislike it so much?
  4. Never heard of a Pom Pom Crab before so I googled it, they are funny little things!
  5. I also have hard water. I have tried using distilled water/bottled water with some water changes and it helped a little, not enough to really justify doing it all the time. I will say my Pogostemon Stellatus Octopus is putting on a lot of growth despite the hard water. My water sprite is not doing as well but has some new growth. Crypts are less happy about the hard water. I was going to get tetras this weekend but I see a lot of you saying they don't do well in hard water so 🤔 ~40kh ~300gh according to my last co-op multi strip test
  6. I have a small Fluval Spec 2.6gal tank that I have had for years but its been empty collecting dust in the basement. Feeling like it is time to get it back out and finally become a multi-tank household😂 A beta is the first thing that comes to mind but I'd love to hear anyones suggestion on what else I could do in it! Thanks! P.S. I have very hard water here so I have to keep that in mind.
  7. Well now that I know they keep track of which free sticker they send you each time, I have to collect them all and will need to place more orders!!😂
  8. After finding Aquarium Co-Op only a month ago, I have watched hours and hours of videos, received three order of product and become a YouTube member. So I just wanted to leave a note here for @Cory and the whole team over there to say thank you! The videos have helped this longtime newbie actually understand tank cycling, using live plants and so much more. All the orders I have placed have come incredibly fast, 2-3 days tops and the value of the products has been well worth the cost. I appreciate the work that has gone into cultivating an assortment of products that are good quality and get the job done. Thank you for creating this ecosystem where hobbyists can learn, share and buy!😀
  9. All the plants I just put in my 15gal tank are from Aquarium Co-Op, I did not rinse them just removed the Rockwood and planted. All are doing good, crypts had a little melt but I am seeing new growth now after only 2 weeks.
  10. I took out the bulb yesterday to rinse it a bit and did discover a small spot where it is mushy but I'd say 95% of it is solid. I'll give another week or two and see. Thanks!
  11. Welcome! I am new today too! I just recently got a dwarf aquarium lily too and it wanted to float so I really had to nestle it into my substrate, which is eco-complete. My bulb now is it is covered in white fuzz, which I read elsewhere on the forum is normal because it was packed in peat moss. Still waiting to see anything actual growth, it has been in the tank about 2 weeks and I decide to turn it on its side yesterday to see if that helps. Jealous of your hillstream loach, some day hope to have one!
  12. What a lovely gesture! I am sure those fish will provide a sweet distraction to those in that waiting room❤️
  13. Dealing with the same thing now, had mine about two weeks only growth I've seen is the white fuzz. Guess I will try rinsing it off and hope for the best!
  14. I have a Fluval Flex 15gal with eco-complete substrate and several types of low-tec/low light plants. I also added a USB nano air pump. I'd like to stock a couple types of fish together but they will need to stay on the smaller size obviously. My short list right now is pristella tetras, corydoras, kuli loaches and honey gourami. Most unsure about the honey gourami due to temperament/space. My idea was the corys and kuli as the bottom dwellers, tetras as the mid level and then honey gourami as the upper level. I am opening to any suggestions! Especially for an upper level "centerpiece" type fish. My plan is to get the pristella tetras first, maybe this weekend depending on how my water levels are. Thanks!
  15. Excited to be here and for having found Aquarium Co-Op! I have learned so much and love the products from them. I have kept tanks off and on since I was a kid. Right now I'm without fish, after my six year old goldfish died. I stripped the tank down and it's cycling with plants only. Leaving me to dream of what new fish to try!
