December 2022 - 3 generations

January 2019 - 2 generations

This is the fry I found in the tank after weeks of focusing on the fry box and not the tank as much... HE WAS HUGE compared to the other fry. Color was vibrant, just a really beautiful little black corydoras.

A bit of waiting to get this plant into the tank.  Trying to find a good source and get the tank settled.  It still isn't great, but I think this photo is a goal for me to obtain and motivation.... Please grow little Hygro!

It is slightly difficult to explain why this photo is one of my favorites, but the depth here is just being able to wake up and see the sunrise through the tanks.  I like waking up and being able to spend time watching the fish.... a photo is 1000 words and this one reminds me of a few 100 moments.

I’m still crazy about this pic of my gold nugget pleco.  He’s just coming back out of a phase where he was hiding a lot.  I have no idea why he was.  Now he’s finally back to more outgoing.

This pic of my short fin blue-eyed lemon.  I need to get a new pic.  He’s grown up and so bristly now.  So handsome!

This pic of super red pleco babies.

This pic of my big boy.  I wish I had gotten a pic of him yesterday.  The light was hitting him just right and he was shining sooooo blue!  I was too slow.

And finally this one from shortly after I set up the 100 G angel tank and the light was coming in the window just right.  It’s not really of the fish, but I love how the light hits that rock cluster on the right side.

The camouflage pattern on the female red eye red tail puffer makes it a challenge in a heavily planted breeding tank.

L181 plecos are coming along nicely. Starting to see some secondary sexual characteristics and maybe by Summer/Fall we’ll have these lovelies breeding. 80461672-151C-421C-B0A2-E4BE353E607F.jpeg.9a910929ddf5cf35c574c7f7164418da.jpegThe colors on my adult electric blue Acaras pair keeps me going with them. F06EB81D-232C-4CCD-B0F1-F472C43CD488.jpeg.83c28be09f1ad2fb5007873b27ac6b79.jpegThe Aves Creeks are really blending in beautifully with the tank. 7EF126DE-83A1-4BE6-9786-A11767BE560D.jpeg.13e78b36038ef26333edab3b705fb896.jpegBlueberry tetras. Loads more red. Think I’ll feed them some red foods for a couple weeks to support the beautiful color.

@Jacob Hill-Legion Aquatics have you determined the species of your stiphodon? (Goby) It looks a lot like mine. I saw this online, and wonder if it’s this…

I bought it as a Electric Blue Neon goby but I'm not sure if that's what I got cause it doesn't have much blue and last time I was at my lfs all of them where super blue.

I got a kick out of this guy the other day, floating around on his algae parachute, he looked pretty confused as far as snails go.

the  picture quality itself isnt the best, but its my best fish picture, and shows the breeding well in this picture.. (im not good at photography).

Fish are so hard to get good pictures of.  Then, when I get a decent picture I look at it and see how dirty the glass is.  Why is my glass always dirty even when I just cleaned it? 😄

This photo is screaming for a Jimmy edit.  Darken the background. Color balance, what a ridiculously colorful photo.  Beautiful!

Reminds me of goofy a little bit with those eyes. 😂  Really awesome photo.  Plecos are so underrated.

Add this to the Jimmy edit pile too for the calendar.  (if someone wants to have some photoshop fun with these, go for it!)  Very nice fish!

I actually used Picsart to edit this photo. I remember it came with a preset thing for the effects 😂😂

I’m kinda better at editing now but here’s the original photo without any alteration image.jpeg.f5155bff65027f3aaed58127c4bc6f51.jpeg

And here it is with a quick edit image.jpeg.bcf37af86303e8163b15950129c8cb1d.jpeg

What's a jimmy edit?

I'll try to dig it up.  I think it was on his channel to give you an idea of what's possible. 🙂

eh... can't find it.  A stream he did where people emailed in photos and he edited them live for us.  This shows the process, but his skill set is just perfected for fish photos and landscape work.

Thank you for this! I’ve been editing my pics with the regular iPhone editor and I’ve had Lightroom downloaded for the longest time 😭

I followed his tutorial and here’s what I came up with. I should’ve been using Lightroom all this time to separate the background. Couldn’t entirely separate the background on this one cause the some colors match with the betta

also sorry for Hijacking this thread with my photos ✌🏻
