I didn't want to celebrate too early but I think now I can safely say my first spawn of shiners are looking great!

Awesome!!! Be patient with these little buggers. They’re  gemstones in the rough.

I can't wait till the day comes to get mine, I have the 30 gal all set up 
& with 12 of them they should do okay in that with a nice clump of 
floating jungle Val as top cover, till I can get them to start populating.

He’s very active breeding excellent strains of R. Shiners. He has a Facebook page dedicated to Notropis chrosomus, and updates there regularly.
