Matt B
This guy makes three. We're hoping he is a 'guy'. We've got two girls and it'd be neat to see if they make little baby Peas. 😍

Matt B
Pipsqueak shrimp molt (Pardon the algae build up on the glass).. I just happed to look into the tank at the right time to see this perfect little molt! A fragile little ghost image of a shrimp. In just a matter of minutes it collapsed and drifted into the the water flow. Sooooo neat. 😎 1

PineSong
Not a great photo, but I was excited to find these guys today: the first batch of fry from a mixed group of guppies I put together 4 weeks ago. I have no idea what these babies will look like when they grow up and will have fun finding out. 3

I've never seen fry of anything before (well, bladder snails...), so this is very exciting! Mom and babies: Babies! And a shot of Dad for good measure: About seven weeks later, four of the Apistogramma cacatuoides fry are juveniles, slightly under half the length of Mom. I think they are all of the next spawn, though, so as soon as I see her in her cave again, they're getting evicted to a grow-out tank. Here's one of them, with a partially eaten cucumber slice for scale: 5
