Fonske
I think my favorites are individuals rather than species and there are too many of them, but here are some: congo tetras and otos pest snails and ghost shrimp

Gannon
To me there is nothing more interesting than archerfish, and the freshwater clouded archers just happen to be the most beautiful with their amazing patterns and yellow finnage. They are remarkably intelligent animals and its evident, as well as highly skilled and specialized to do remarkable things.

Minanora
I'm one of those people. The guppy fanatic. I'm obsessed with guppies. However for bottom dwellers I love 3 stripe corydoras. Invert, I love Orange neocaridina shrimp.

Biotope Biologist
One I hope to come back to one day is the green phantom pleco. All time favorite, I attempted a pair when they first came on the market at $200 only for them to develop a nasty gill infection in QT. Only had them for a week. Favorite fish I’ve worked with, darkfin sculpin. Can’t share photos from work but look at this absolute cutie! 3

Tanked
It is still Red Tailed Tinfoil Barbs for me. They are: a schooling fish, hardy, active, long lived, big enough to identify individually from two rooms away... The only real down side is they will eat every plant in the tank and anything else that fits in their mouth.
