    Thanks for the compliment. Also your tanks are great and the video was helpful. Obviously the “female” should be bigger. I’ve never really thought her skinny but like I said she doesn’t seem to be growing all that fast. Since she has more of the yellow on her fins I though she was female and since she wasn’t getting male markings either. I’ll look closer at her about the skinny part. I know everyone is always asking about poop and I know fish poop a lot. I’ve seen my filter sponges when I clean them. And when i was kid I remember always seeing those long poops hanging out of our fish, but in this tank I never see them hanging out of fish. She definitely eats well whenever I feed and I quarantine with the MED trio for all my fish. I have also started just doing a full treatment with paracleanse for just the concern you raised. Maybe I’ll try and catch her and treat her anyways. Couldn’t hurt. I saved one khuli loach that way so far. Thanks again.

    Don’t know if it’s already been said but airline quick release connections. Not gang valves but something to easily connect decorations to existing airlines. Trying to reconnect airlines in the bottom of a tall tank, inside a decoration with old airlines is no fun

    I use the AquaSky Fluval 2.0 On my 60gallon. It seems to grow my low light plants no problem. It doesn’t have the three different white light warmths but has all the same programmability and weather effects. I think the intensity of either is also sufficient for taller tanks as I see many people talk about how they only run their 3.0 at 50% intensity. I however am struggling with green spot algae so what do I know.

    So I have two apistogramma cacautoides. I think I have a male and a female. I have had the male for 7 months and was sold to me as a super red and the presumed female for about 4-5 months. She has not grown a whole lot is about 1/3 the size of the male. They don’t pay much attention to each other. I even built a hole cave specifically for them. Is she really a female. How big do the females get? sorry taking pictures of fish is hard

    Thanks so much. It was an upgrade from 20g. It was a Black Friday but but I really wish it was a 90 gallon so I could get a little mores depth to it and more fish.

    Thanks so much. I’ll ramp up the tabs. Also know this may be a trick question as it is about balance but I’m battling GSA. Is the light too much and causing that?

    No expert but I think you might have the floss clog faster as it would be the first pass filter instead of the second pass so you may have to replace it more often?

    All my plants except the anubia have come from the co-op and have done better than I could have hoped. 60g tall Tank has been up nearly a year and everything is thriving except the flame sword. I mean it’s not dead but not really growing. Tank at planting and tank now, as well as light cycle on my AquaSky 2.0 are in the images. I put a couple root tabs around it very 2 months and dose easy green sometimes. Other plants probably need a little more easy green from the looks of things. why is my sword not growing when everything else is? Thanks
