More deaths could definitely make it worse, since an ammonia spike usually ends up happening from them. It could definitely have created a bit of a chain reaction, in relation to everything else occurring.

Hm, maybe the fish were added to quickly? If that’s the case, perhaps that made them more stressed and prone to disease, which could have made them susceptible to getting ick.

An Oscar sounds like it could be fitting! Rachel O’Leary has great videos showing Captain Crankypant’s behavior. Sadly, he passed away recently. But, he was a very personable fish and displayed the typical Oscar pouting and silliness. When I was younger, we had two Oscars in the household in one of the 170 gallon aquariums. My mom would tell me how they were always very interactive, and how I really enjoyed sitting in front of the tank and watching them day to day when I was little.

For Comedy, my favorite movie would have to be: Fright Night (1985). For Horror, I like: Mama (2013), Silent Hill, Mandy, It (2017), the Evil Dead franchise, Insidious, and Hellraiser. Leatherface is also a pretty entertaining horror movie. For Sci-Fi, I’ve always enjoyed: Signs, the Alien franchise, War of the Worlds (2005), Color Out of Space, and The X-Files - Fight The Future. For a Christmas movie, my two favorites are: Die Hard and Krampus.

Kuhli loaches are usually okay with shrimp, since they have a different mouth shape from other loaches. I agree that the betta would probably be the instigator, if the shrimp end up getting injured or eaten. I’ve heard of some mollies eating shrimp as well, but I think that full grown amano shrimp would likely be too large for them to eat. The rest of the stocking seems like it would be fine.

This is my succulent, Randall. I saw him on the shelf at the grocery store. My mom let me take him home. While we were driving back, we were laughing a lot and enjoying being in the car together, since I’m not usually able to leave the house and be in a vehicle. So I named him after the road we were on. Since then, I’ve been propagating him and have many tiny Randall clones 😅
