Then November 30th I had a major change in my situation and could set back up and got my budget back. So over especially the last 6weeks I’ve been getting everything going and added too. I’m now at 20 tanks and all my extra “stuff” is all used up! Also I have MTS like severe MTS how am I gonna just have tanks or containers laying around? 🤣😂🤣😂 kinnda just kidding, I can probably come up with enough equipment and hardscape. It will be containers and stocking that will be difficult. But that’s part of what makes this fun, having to be creative in ways to make it work.😁 ORD, but awesome you’re diving back in!

This would be why I only claim to **almost** have my tanks balanced. Beardedbillygoat1975
@Atitagainhas volunteered to tabulate votes on 4/1/22. in addition to MTS, he’s now got some other responsibilities! Hahaha! I wish those who are power outlet challenged good luck.
xXInkedPhoenixX
Hopefully I'm going powerless on this one 😄 @Beardedbillygoat1975 Our fearless leader @Streetwise is my current inspiration. Beardedbillygoat1975
We should come up with an award for the best catastrophic fail @xXInkedPhoenixX. The “I’m not an aquatic gardner but play one on tv” award! Other ideas are welcome! 1

Andy's Fish Den
I like this! I am going to play along, I have a bunch of stuff sitting around, I am sure I can scape a tank without having to buy anything. There was on YouTube a few years ago, a challenge I think Rachel O'Leary started doing a scrap scape, using only stuff you had in your fishroom. I found a playlist on her channel, there was quite a few members of the fish fam took part.
Beardedbillygoat1975
@Andy's Fish DenDo you think she will come after us for copyright infringement? Patrick_G
I bet folks interested in this thread already know this but Goodwill, Value Village and other thrift stores are great places to get glass containers.
Streetwise
You might want to set your submission deadline to April 2nd, so you don’t get people like me trying to be funny for April Fools Day!

I thought that was the whole point of setting the submission day to 4/1: to encourage the whimsically frugal inspiration in nermlandia. 😁 1
Beardedbillygoat1975
@Streetwisetheres a certain symmetry to 4/2/22. However, I’m a real fan of 4/1 being St Nermy’s Day and agree with @Torreythat was definitely my intent!

Beardedbillygoat1975
I often cut some 2 " thick sponge in a large rectangle/square, cut it and stick some tube with an airline and stone at the end and boom nano filter.
xXInkedPhoenixX
@Beardedbillygoat1975 @Odd Duckdoes it make a difference if the airstone is tight fitting or should there be a little space between the stone and sponge?
Beardedbillygoat1975
As long as the stone is spitting most of the bubbles up the outtake I don't worry too much.
