Frank
The weather service has issued an excessive heat alert. I don't have air conditioning, so...
ARMYVET
NO AIR CONDITIONING😱 I feel bad for the fish but even worse for you!!
Frank
It's not hot yet. I'm starting to think that, for today, it was a false alarm. Tomorrow is supposed to get the hottest, though. Edited June 26, 2021 by Frank
CalmedByFish
I can't tell what I'm looking at. Is there something cold in the bucket?

Randall from Texas
What do you have in your tank? You may not need to worry about the heat.

Ember Tetras, Green Neon Rasboras, some kind of Otocinclus, Scarlet Badis, Neocardina shrimp, Japanese trapdoor snails, and Bladder snails. They're telling us that it will approach 100°F.

Frank
It's not even trying hard, but it's working. I think it has room to cope with the higher temperatures predicted for tomorrow and Monday. It's 91° outside. 86° inside. 79° in the aquarium.
Randall from Texas
I keep tetras, apistos, shrimp 6 diff cats including Otos and snails at 85 with my discus. Since you're getting a slow rise into the heat I think they will be ok. Put a fan blowing across that bucket and it will supercharge the evaporative cooling you're doing.

Frank
My biggest problem is that my freezer isn't keeping up. It can't make ice fast enough. Today is supposed to be the last day of this. I hope it works out that way.

Frank
It's below 90° in here, and cooling rapidly outside! I think that we're going to make it.
Tanked
If it doesn't let up, a larger bucket and fans on the aquarium might help.
B1gJ4k3
I had good luck yesterday taking the top off and having a big fan blowing across the top. That cooled it down from about 82 to 78ish.
Frank
We set another all-time record high temp., yesterday. Around 8:00pm it started cooling down. It was finally cool enough that I slept through the night. When I went to bed, it was still hot in the house, so I left the cooler and fan running. This morning, I found that the heater couldn't keep up. It was 74° in the tank. But, everybody made it through the ordeal and we're back to normal. 😎 💪 Edited June 29, 2021 by Frank
