  1. Keep us posted on how they do! I have a bit of a thing for Kuhlis
  2. If the amount of lighting seems to be OK for fish and plants, go for it!!
  3. I expect it’ll look great once all the plants have grown in. I think @tolstoy21 is the one to ask on the spray bar thingy, as he’s currently building a fish room. Spoiler: It looks AMAZING
  4. Also make sure that you do some regular water changes as it grows and produces more waste.
  5. I’m told they love to lay their eggs around the filter output where there’s the most flow.
  6. I’ve had a 63 gal for about 1 1/2 years now and the only major problem I’ve had is a blue-green algae bloom during the first month. I am kind of tempted to do a ‘mountain stream’ themed tank with vallisneria , hillstream loaches, and white clouds, although the loaches could be a tad pricey… Maybe a large school of neons with some SAEs and Amanos, and maybe a couple of cherry shrimp??
  7. The possibilities are basically limitless Have you ever managed to breed kuhlis @anewbie?
  8. That will certainly help answer your questions. Have a nice day!
  9. Actually, I could feed it to my hens too… thanks!
  10. @kevincanadahas recently posted a seemingly to good to be true cure for duckweed. Mine is to 🔥 it!
  11. Try adding Indian Almond leaves for the pH, and maybe add some more plants or do a larger water change. Good Luck!! Seems that we replied at the same time 🙃
  12. This looks good so far and I can’t wait to see the finished product!
  13. Under the cover of darkness a lot of things go unnoticed 🙃
  14. I think it’s highly unlikely that Daphnia could be able to live and breed in an aquarium. Filters and fish should deal with them quite quickly. As for keeping those who you didn’t feed, I’d add some plants and feed fry food every now and again. Have a nice day!
  15. Second thoughts: KOI!! Might actually be a tad pricey.. How has this thread gone from feeding kuhli loaches to how to stock a 2000 gallon????!
  16. I’m told the absolute minimum is a 20 gal, but a 15 should be fine as long as you can upsize it when it starts growing.
  17. 😍I’ve always wanted that amount of space to play with!! Maybe another arowana🙃? Maybe you could get a MBU PUFFER like the Co-Ops Murphy? One thing I’ve always wanted to do is add a trio of all the average livebearers you can find at a big box store and just let them breed and occasionally bring in some new blood. Its you who’s calling the shots here! Keep us posted on what you end up doing with it!
  18. I agree with @JoeQ, destroy all the conditions making life great for the algae. Without harming the fish of course😏
