I have Japanese trapdoor snails the really look like wizard snails, but I just feed the tank. I think @Guppysnail has some experience, snails are kinda her thing. send pictures when you can

Are they detritus worms? If so, the fix is easy. Just add fish and cur back on the food in the tank.

Your water is similar to mine, and I use crushed coral in my discus tank without issue. What kind of fish do you want to keep?

I’ve seen a video where dean used it to feed fry. He touched the tip of a dry paintbrush into the Repashy, then tapped it over the breeders box.

That’s Baby Girl. She’s about 6 months old and half Ricky’s size.

6 days later - definitely starting to look like angels. But my snail population has exploded, the water-sprite floating in the tank is growing at an unprecedented rate, and pictures are becoming a challenge. All good problems to have, but problems just the same.

@KittenFishMom I get it, if the hobby is bringing more stress than joy, you really really don’t need it. I was trying to offer kind words in a trying time because you are such a great forum member.

Yeah. I really hate the waiting rooms here at Overton Brooks VA medical center. The chairs are older than me, not old enough to be antique or new enough to be trendy, and made before comfort was a thing. but the price is right.

I found this article that says female guppies reach sexual maturity at 3 months. So maybe? I find water sprite is terrific as a floating plant.

Pipe cutter if you have one. Sharp edges can be eliminated with a lighter, just don’t over do it. -
It’s been a solid 10 days since the fry started free swimming. they grow-up so fast. 😢

Eggs were laid on or about 2 February. The amazing thing is that in a tank full of BNP’s, the eggs made it and I don’t see any predation on the little beggars.

They really don’t spend much time in the crypts. I’m thinking about moving it to another tank. Just not sure…
